I didn’t know that, that’s great! I think Doug from The Soundtestroom mentioned it works really well on drums too, but I could be misremembering.

Is Rock Drummer AUv3 or is that only Pop Drummer?
Only PopDrummer is AUv3 now.
Thanks, I guess it doesn't really matter since I can just export to audio correct?
Already mentioned evantide black hole for 10,-??
Ooh, that's nice
Correct. The only disadvantage I see is the inability to save the state of the drum machine when saving the state in the host (AUM, Loopy Pro, etc.).
Do you know how it stores samples by any chance? Are they in the auv3 instance? Or any sort of iCloud support?
Afaik they all have MIDI/wav full-mix/multi-track export, the caveat being no variable jam intensity for the resulting file.
Tip: TestFlights for both the Mac and iOS versions can be found on the web for those who want to try it out first. It’s fairly zippy. One of the more preferred alternatives to VNC. If memory serves, it even supports native multitouch (but don’t quote me on that!).
The rest of eventide is 8,-
Any tips on which are essential?
None are essential, frankly, just depends on your own needs and preferences. Blackhole and Ultratap are the 2 I would miss, the others I never use any more
I would say the same and just add MicroPitch which I like on guitars.
Blackhole is the first reverb I reach for, but it’s my taste for post-rock and similar stuff. Ultratap is a delay like no other.
I also like MangledVerb, but it’s quite situational.
Others are less important, though the harmonizers are quite fun to use.
Does FAC normally do a sale? I’ve got my eye on a couple of his compressors. Black Friday deal and hit the tip jar 🫙
Looks like the answer is “sometimes”. I’d bet on some of his apps having a sale, but not everything.
Probably a one day sale if anything, which is totally fair for that man’s work.
