Damn, sEGments was on my hold-off list until a sale ...
Well, anyone have insight on sEGments vs. Koala? I'm not sure if it will make more sense to run one of them in Loopy Pro or Drambo, but intend to sample drums from both external gear and AUv3 drum machines, would like to be able to quickly manipulate captured snippets from generated loops and build out samples of partial loops that can be rebuilt into interesting reconstructed loops ... if that makes sense.
Both sEGments and Koala ended up at the top of the list for the moment after digging.

Thats a tough call. I like segments, nice for slicing audio and playing it back, but Koala has that feature and a ton more that make it a lot more powerful.
Watch a video of each and see what fits your use case better.

Worth noting that samples are time-stretched as they are pitched up/down rather than just speeding them up or slowing them down which is a nice change from the norm. Can’t find a way to turn on polyphony for samples though?
