It’s your thread Poppa, but AI Sports Betting apps? Is that worth promoting?

Yea, true, it’s debatable. I dabble a little bit, but it was such a massive discount, free usually $130, and after testing the app it seemed to be pretty interesting so I added it. You’re right though that one might have been a little over the curation line. Appreciate the feedback.

I’d second not wanting sports betting being anywhere near the site. AI, while contentious, at last has value as a tool. Sports gambling brings nothing but trouble.

  • Photo/Graphic

WaterColorizer - Photo Artist is free usually $.99

  • New Release - AI

Image Lab AI Image Generator is new and currently free at launch, unlimited local Ai image generator, requires iOS 26

Pagefall Limited is having a sale!

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app-bundle/midi-apps/id1856593938

I already had Autony and just paid $3 to get both Cality and Ionarics! Big thank you to @egobeats for getting the word out.

Just checked on AppRaven and it looks like they’ve been the same price since launch. Where’s the sale? Is it the bundle?

It must be because I don’t recall there being a bundle. I have them all so can’t see, but bundle must be new.

Wonder how volatile the discount is (do bundles often price-fluctuate independently from their apps?). Been on my intrigue-list a long time. Anybody get significant/unique use out of these?

Yes the bundle is new, well to be more accurate the bundle I think it was more resurrected since I’m pretty sure it was there before at least once, for a short time. It hasn’t been there for a decent amount of time. I think….

yes the bundle is a separate entity, each app and the bundle are all independent products with a price set by the developer separately. There’s occasional changes, but not nearly as much as a single app or IAP. Sometimes the Included apps in the bundle might change (FabFilter twin3 to 3fx bundle), or the bundle is available for a limited time only (quantovox, pagefall), or even the rare market price adjustments. If the apps in a bundle are on sale I try to remember to check any bundles as well to see if they are also discounted. Theres a lot less bundles, then apps/IAPs, and most of the time I come across them browsing they seem to stay at the same price, not bouncing around that much, other then the occasional sale.

I requested app Raven track bundle prices and I believe they said there is some type of issue, not on their end, but something that prevents them from getting the bundle price change reports, like they can with apps and IAPs. Can’t remember exactly why, but something along those lines.

That’s some deep bundle pricing lore I would have never guessed. thx for the tip!

Can you really trust any gambling app?

Does anyone regulate online gambling to keep them honest?

The convergence of gambling and tech like AI is getting really sinister too:

I think it’s your thread and you have always been the judge of what should be posted here. Betting apps? Also fair game.

I've heard people mention the previous version of the Lunar Lander app as being amazing, and it looks like there is a new release for it - though I'm not certain if it's the same dev or not:

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/p930-lunar-lander/id1534909107

When I came across it before in forum posts, it was no longer available to buy. I see reviews for this from January of this year, so I'm not sure if this is actually a new release, or it was unavailable for a while, or people were talking about a different app altogether :/

It was pulled from the Appstore a while back, then it returned after a year or so(?) updated. There was a lot of anger against the devs when it was removed from the store, but all seems good now. I hate the menu system. It has a great plate reverb, one of the best.

There’s some community aspect here I’d imagine. I can’t see me starting a “iOS sales app thread no gambling apps” being a great look for anyone. If this sales thread starts leaning “gambling, ICE reporting, AI, politics and Adult Friend Finder” apps then music devs could start being hesitant to advertise themselves in the thread.

Again, I don’t see how anything good or productive can come from any gambling tool - especially an AI powered one. That’s just an invitation for ruining lives.

I can second that, it's a superb duo app but as Slush say, the preset system is a bit of a joke. It's not often you see an app change from a bad preset system (the previous) to an even worse. But again, the app is a real gem.

Agreed on the gambling stuff. The reason I ultimately decided to share it was because it was free. I admittedly did not think about it that much, and if I had, would not have shared it.

In fact I’m actually concerned about the rampant promotion, and over saturation of such sources that are now in the palm of every hand. It has become ubiquitous with every sport in the States. It is literally unavoidable. I am worried about the effect it might have on people. It’s easy for humans to have dopamine issues, when we literally have everything we want at all times.

After thinking and writing this I realized… the absolute last thing I would want this thread to do is trigger someone who was struggling with a problem. That post was a mistake. I apologize to any who found it offensive. I appreciated most of the constructive criticism in this situation. It was a rare lapse in judgement, and it won’t happen again. To error is human.

Im hoping we can leave it at that and get on with the music! Cheers!

Update - I went back and removed the photo from my posts. If any others who shared it would do so that would be great, Thank you. If anyone is curious about the app in this discussion it is on AppRaven Apps gone free list.

Update 2 - In my defense, All I originally did was share a free app, with no opinion on the matter, yes it was a mistake, but let’s not go overboard about all possible content that might follow. While I understand your potential concern, this has always been a place to share and discuss iOS apps, sales, & music, not to discuss divisive topics that inevitably lead to conflict. This thread prioritizes community, inclusion, assistance, information, and respect, Thanks.

Great to know. I still have the app on my devices. Cheers!

  • Downloaded Sequincer and just wanted to note that the pricing doesn’t match what’s listed above, at least for me on the CDN store.

The app is free to download and there are three tiers of subscription/ownership above that. The first tier is also free on promo currently. The odd thing is the first tier shows as regularly $20 CDN, which is very different than what’s in the above image even taking into account currency conversion.
