    Special for AUBE 2 owners!

Be one of 10 lucky winners to get my upcoming AUv3 plugin, FAC Clipper, for free!

    To enter:

Email your answer to the following question by March 11, 2025, to the AUBE 2 support email:
What’s new in the ‘Quick Search’ view (New Update v2.0.1), to the right of “All Effects” and “All Instruments”?

    Winners will be randomly selected.

    Good luck!

Don't forget to Join my social media to stay up-to-date with all the latest news and updates! Don’t miss out on anything exciting See https://fredantoncorvest.com bottom of the page

  • One of my favorite features in AUBE is the randomizer die inside the keyboard extension!

Instead of going back and forth, trying to decide on which one of your hundreds of auv3 instruments and/or effects to use on the next track, just tap on this die to randomly pick one for you!

Thank you for this feature @FredAntonCorvest 🙏

  • Anyone know if this pulls info from the store or from your iPad which has recently deleted some of my purchase

  • Do I understand that correctly only AUv3 and not apps like Borderlands Granular etc.?

  • Is there anything that I can do about it, apart from submitting? A workaround would be labelling everything myself, right?

  • Ah, no. I can’t tag these

  • edited February 17

I restarted my iPad, deleted and downloaded all the apps again, but these two are still unknown, even though they are labelled, when I search for them. Is this a bug? seems like one.

Anyone has one of those apps and the same problem? In this state the app has no use for me, since I wanted something to easily tag and find my efx and instr in my iOS DAWS

more info… MolliLooper is the same

Mollilooper shows the same for me. The dev is pretty responsive to bug emails. You can contact support directly from in the app - it’ll generate an email for you.

thanks a lot! I send him an email :)

  • Fred fixed it! :*

  • Is it possible to open apps directly from within aube 2.
For people with a bad short term memory

  • Tbh, the best solution to the problem of having so many apps you can't remember them is...buy fewer apps 😉

  • I know
I just can’t part with the unused for sentimental reasons.
Everything started a long time ago with bebot which is still on my phone

Or simply delete those that have not been used in a year or two :sunglasses:

That’s with a lot of things.

  • What is the frequency of updates?

I have now 3 apps that are not in aube2.

    I did report them.

Used that a couple of times, no reply
I now have 3 apps that are not listed in the app.

  • I think it’s very strange for the developer not to react and dont update the app and not react.

It is the whole purpose of the app to be complete.

I reported three apps that are not in the collection.

  • Wavebox for example.
    Maybe because there is another app;
    wave- box

Submitting your unknown AUv3 plugins does not mean it will generate a mail, it will be sent to the system to be classified for a further update. If you want to report personally use the contact support.

One important thing is to maintain your plugins updated, some change names, some add new extensions, there are numerous reasons why a possible AUv3 is not shown in AUBE.

Regarding update frequency, the previous database update was released a few days ago, the last one today. It depends and it has been intensive lately. There are already more than 1700 AUv3 in AUBE! I also do quick fixes when people kindly contact the support reporting issues.

Expecting instant reactions on forums isn’t realistic. It’s better to contact support directly you can even do it from the app. I’m quite responsive!

    My pleasure :)

  • Something must have gone wrong then because I used contact support

The “submit your unknown app” function is grey and couldn’t be used.

But I understand that it’s difficult to keep up with all the apps.

Don’t get me wrong, i’m very satisfied with aube2 and would recommend it to everyone.

  • Sorry but never got an answer to the emails
    No bad intentions here.

( the previous ones were also send to support contact
Just saying maybe there is a bug or something?)

I reported wavebox editor as unknown
    and asking why the
“submit unknowennauv3’s” has been greyed out since I bought it.

Please post a screenshot of your AUv3 2 Settings page

  • Also ehen I type “freebies “ in the search beam I get 0 results instead of all the freebies like mentioned.

  • @Meek3 said:

Thnx, that's useful. I wonder if it's greyed out because you already submitted them? So according to the system there's nothing left to be submitted. Even though, as you say, those plugins are still missing from the database. Hmm

  • @FredAntonCorvest : Got a lot of your apps, Alteza reverb is my go to on every track. I bought Aube 1 in good faith. Not thrilled that it is now deprecated, with no current upgrade path for suckers like me who supported the concept first time round. Not sure why I should chuck another £20 at a new app that 1) duplicates the functionality I thought I had already bought. 2) Might itself be deprecated in five minutes.

    • What do you mean by Wavebox Editor, the audio editor app? As far as I know, you can load your AUv3 plugins in the app, but it’s not an AUv3 on its own? So this may explain why it’s not available
    • Wave Box it’s from Audiothing and available in the database
    • To get all the freebies, tap the search box. Then, in the top-left menu, set the search to “All AUv3 Plugins.” If you want only the catalog, choose “AUv3 Plugins Catalog,” and then tap “Freebie” in the search box.
    • Regarding your unknown AUv3 still being there and not in the database, maybe you have ongoing betas with new features that are not on the App Store yet
    • For the mail, you just have to tap “Contact Support”, the Mail app will open automatically. Once you send a mail to support, you will get an instant auto-reply email
