Glad you enjoy my apps! Yes, Alteza is very beloved, and I’m very proud of it
Regarding AUBE 2 I did promos, including the pre-order, plus a bunch of contests. So a lot of “don’t miss this” actions
The price is now back to normal.
Regarding your AUBE 1 version, as mentioned in the support website section of AUBE, I provided a v1.6.6 update for AUBE 1 including a new database! But in my opinion, the way the App Store is handling updates for apps that are no longer on the App Store is not entirely clear, unfortunately. Go to the App Store and try to reinstall version 1 with the new update from there.
I was trying to work out if this was actually the case - I’ve only just bought v1, and now it’s £20 or nothing? Oof.
Thanks for the swift reply
There must be something wrong then because I never got an instant autoreply, also not in the spam, or an other account.
The freebies is my mistake
I entered freebies instead of freebie.
And I meant wavebox audio editor and not wave box. So that could be an explanation then.
Anyway thanks for looking into it.
Though here I want to report to you that instant auto reply is not working. Maybe thats why support also doesnt work?
Just saying
I would still recommend aube 2 to everyone.
Thank you for your great support!
If you did not receive the auto-reply message, it likely means your email never reached the mail service. I have checked the system again and everything is working normally.
Could you try sending the message from another email address? Maybe features like “Hide My Email” can interfere with delivery.
You can also contact me through social media, I check those accounts daily. They are all available on the website as well.
Hey Fred, I sent a support email as well to see if the auto reply worked on my end. Everything went through fine it seems. Hopefully that’s a helpful confirmation and not an annoying email haha
Done
I have send from my other email address and again received no auto reply.
So it must be something on my end
Sorry for the hassle
Update:
The response did arrive at the other e-mailadres
So it’s just a setting on my part.
2.2.0 - New FREE Update for existing AUBE 2 owners!
AUBE now also includes an AUv3 hosting environment for instantly exploring and testing your installed plugins. You can preview audio effects, instruments, and MIDI effects directly within AUBE and evaluate them in seconds!
The preview system is designed for quick plugin exploration and serves a different purpose than traditional hosts focused more on production by default, where testing a plugin often requires creating a project, locating the plugin, and loading audio before you can even start experimenting with it.
You can play instruments from the integrated keyboard, connect external MIDI devices, bypass audio effects, export parameter trees to JSON files, run structured tests (AU validation), and inspect plugin behavior without unnecessary setup or distractions. It's a direct and focused host workflow designed entirely for fast plugin preview and evaluation.
To launch an AUv3 plugin, simply tap the “Preview” button in any detail view.

Wonderful update !!
Thanks for the update @FredAntonCorvest! Very cool new test bed feature.
My favorite part is still the keyboard extension. I didn’t always understand how useful it could be, but as I’ve used it, it’s definitely grown on me, and has really come in handy, especially for someone with over 1000 installed AUv3s.
What the keyboard extension does, is it helps you find something different, other than using the same auv3 plugins in every project. It definitely helps shine a light on the dark, dusty corner of that auv3 closet.
I was just thinking, I wonder how many IAA apps I have installed. I think I might need a “IAABE” 🙏🫶
(I’m joking of course!)
I’m with you, that keyboard is fantastic. I actually agree IAA would be really nice to have, along with hosts. But that’s also likely beyond the scope of the app.
@FredAntonCorvest i was wondering if a feature could be added that allows exports for category search. So if I wanted to share all the results I get from “Category: Distortion OR Saturation” as a .csv there could be an “Export Results” option after searching. I know I can export my entire library, and maybe you can do this from that menu in some way, but at the least having the option to do so directly from the plugin search would be nice.
Saved searches would be nice as well. If I search for a certain combination frequently having it as a quick search would speed things up. Steam has a similar feature if you wanted a reference for implementation.
Might end up sending this via email if I don’t hear anything back. Not sure how active you are here.
@FredAntonCorvest maybe add ‘channel strip’ as a search filter? There’s a few on the AppStore now. 🙏
