I’ve been waiting for this for a minute. I score all the drum apps and immediate impressions are 🫶👏🏆. Looking fwd to deep diving.
Passes my OCTACHRON test.
FEATURE REQUEST: I'd love to be able to modulate/vary some of the controls in the Sequencer section e.g. Shift/Fill etc.
It may be possible but I haven't found a way yet, and I haven't R'd the entire FM yet so it might be covered in that, but posting while I think of it
Apologies if this has already been mentioned. Though obviously intended to be used as a plug-in, I’m kinda surprised that there’s no export audio option from the standalone version.
Plus, an ‘open app to last state’ option could be useful? Currently, if you don’t save it, whatever you’re playing around with will be lost and the app will reopen on the Default project when it’s closed and reopened.

Additional reports:
-I think there are the aforementioned invisible Lock icons on the Solo and Mute switches (as well).
[I think this behavior of beta-Battalion is an issue.]
-Incidentally, not only normal(?) Lock icons, but invisible Lock icons also slow down the aforementioned ‘preset switching speed(?)’, in my test environment. Especially “multiple” (invisible) Lock icons.
[Having said that, this behavior of beta-Battalion (= Preset switching slows down when Lock icons are attached.) may be due to my iPadPro(2017) is old and has low processing power. If so, my apologies.]
It seems odd that the sequencer is so awesome in features and usability yet so useless in that it has no use beyond 16 steps.
Not sure what you say there, you can set it to 64 steps, and play with speed multiplier etc.
+1 audio export and stem export with a setting for the amount of the exported bars would be nice. Also automatic preset sharing via iCloud please
It's strange but I see some features I hadn't noticed before, thanks, but now karma has struck me down. I can't get it to make a sound.
please make this fullscreen. unusable on a iphone 12.
seriously, how the hell do you want to use this on a iPhone?
you could ask why even sell it for iphone.
some get fullscreen of their apps done, some not.
cool what midi mapping preset are you using for this?
yeah, that would be my second question
the iPhone 12 is not tiny, still.. this one needs an iPad screen
general midi 16 seems to be working fine for me. I tried the generate scales- chromatic, and that also worked.
I prefer having to tap teeny tiny icons than losing this, it’s a real blast.
Great app, love it! So far no hiccups, one crash in Drambo but likely due to other factors as Battalion.
One request is be able to fix the multi out settings. So that when you change preset the multi out settings on the mixer page will stay. Now you have to set all the tracks to multi out after every preset change.
Drum computer and Patterning have it that way too, probably more apps.
Try to tap on the top lock icon and then put locks on all the routings in the mixer page. I think this will preserve the multi-out setting when changing preset? (haven't tried yet).
When I tested multi-out in Drambo I didn't get the same sound and wondered whether it was a bug. I forgot to set the Maximizer and EQ on Master channel, the difference was probably due to that.
I'm not in the beta test so I'm curious: Is the interface the kind where once you know the app you can fumble around in it on a phone, even if using it there all the time would be too much? Or do you need .05mm fingers to use it?
I’m afraid .05mm fingers will be too big @suboptimal
yep.
it would work with a iphone if the whole screen was used like in some of their apps/auv3
@trickyflemming @amusesmile Hello !
FEATURE REQUEST : MIDI Controls : expose the random button of each lane of the sequencers.
for example, I'd like to use an external controller to generate random pitches of one of the sequencers at a time, like when you click on the random button on each line
There are plenty of midi controllers already available, if it were possible to add this one.
Thank you !!!
Olivier
I hadn't noticed these lane randomizers before. Very useful!
Although, not so useful when having Settings:Randomizer depth to 2 %, which I found to be a good value for voice randomizing to get slight variations without going bonkers. For these lanes a setting of 20 % makes more sense, but that is unusable for voice randomization. @trickyflemming @amusesmile could the settings page have different depth values for various parts of the app?
Just got back from spring break (a much needed week off with my kids)! I'm catching up on all the bug reports and will get the first patch up in the next few days. Thank you for all of the kind words and testing.
MIDI can be used to play every channel chromatically. Check the MIDI implementation guide in the manual. Essentially, MIDI Channel 1 is used for all voices, but Channels 2-9 are chromatic inputs for each voice.
Oh, that’s brilliant. Many thanks @trickyflemming, I’ll check out the manual. Cheers.
The first wave of bug fixes should now be up on TestFlight:
How does one un-assign a modulation source?
BPM thread: Would it have been better for us to put BPM on a normal slider in the Sequencer row on the performance page for iOS instead of the numerical label on the top row?
