I know, right? Now my iPad Air 3 can become a Blofeld module!

Hey @Waldemar : Would you be so kind to add: Released for iPad, in the title, to make it more clear - now it looks more like a wish. 😃

    Done!

  • This is ace! I hope they keep up with it. I know attack drums hasn’t seen love in like 9 years. Maybe it’s because that one was not so popular. I felt Nave was amazing and they kept up ok I think. Cheers to this sweet synth company. Fun to see hardware folks come to iOS.

  • Okay, glad I didn't get Dialekt on my limited budget. Here's the instabuy I've been waiting for!

  • Looks like it might be available now at an introductory price because all of the other Waldorf apps are priced higher.

I think you’re right. My German isn’t very good but i’m pretty sure that’s what this means on the Gearnews page linked to at the top.

I was a beta tester, but NDA hold me back to tell about it. But the result is really great, love the sounds.

@jwmmakerofmusic this is absolutly one for you.

  • So many great stuff, this cannot be healthy.

  • is there a demo?

Did you have any trouble with stuck notes in the beta? I'm getting loads of them and it's pretty frustrating. Nice sounding notes, mind, but note-off is important too.

Hopefully they add pan & scroll similar to Microwave when the UI doesn’t fully fit into the given AUv3 plug-in view.

Technically I see no major issues, AUv3 automation works like a charm as do the AUv3 multi-outputs.

  • "With the Blofeld app you can also control your hardware and it is compatible with existing Blofeld soundsets."

    Hmmmm.......I wonder...

Agreed! 😃 New synth means new Ambient on the way. Just gotta figure out how this son of a gun works, and off I go.

No, never had stuck notes. I had some cracklings sounds on some presets(like Bach Whistler) and gave feedback about this.

  • Dang. Good price, too.

  • Yay, the day is here!

  • Blofeld for iPad Pricing and Availability

Blofeld for iPad is now available in Apple’s App Store at an introductory price of €14.99/ $12.99 USD, rising to €29.99/$24.99 after May 11.

  • Will be disappointed if it doesn't include the hardware's dodgy encoder behavior. o:)

Maybe I can use my blofeld as a controller!
    :)

  • Can the app do multi or do you need to instances running ? The desktop version appears to have more presets is that true ?

Hmm, ....careful what you wish for! I'm finding the knobs and dials very unresponsive at times. Multiple presses required sometimes to get some things working. And the arrows in the preset window often open up the floating window of all the presets, rather than moving to the next/previous preset.

And, for what it's worth (and this is just my opinion folks), the presets are as dreadful as they are on the hardware . If you're into psy-trance or whatever, you're all set.......but compared to some of the incredible sounds I was getting out of the Battalion beta earlier today, these are not to my taste at all....

It can definitely do AUv3 multi-out...
