If I try and add additional instances of Tapescam in Logic Pro often the new instances are silent, blocking the audio from that channel. Might be Logic (I still find it buggy as hell), and seems to be resolved on exiting and reopening Logic...
Odd! I’ll take a look and see if I can narrow it down (I don’t have logic to test). Mind joining the TestFlight for when i have a build to validate?
I’ve had the same issue.
Weirdly, I now think it may somehow have been due to other plugins.. after updating a couple of sugar bytes instruments specifically Cyclop (awesome). Its well behaved now, and I had a long session yesterday, (with a lot of tapescam 😛). Additionally a lot of strange Logic Pro behaviour seems ok now. (such as instruments randomly swapping with other instruments...).
So.. good news!
(If this is the case - I don't quite understand how an auv3 can bring down other plugins or DAW aspects, that seem to be 'outside' from the culprit plugin - I'd have thought they'd be quite isolated)
It happens a LOT in GarageBand. Some synths can make others go out of tune. Some behave weirdly if you merge the tracks. BLEASS alpha will have stuck notes sometimes if I have certain other AUs (haven’t quite isolated the problem). Finally, FM Zone’s sampler section played no audio only on one song and fine in everything else , so it’s likely from the combination of apps used . Neither me nor the dev were able to duplicate it but this is the only explanation I can think of.
I've been trying today to reproduce this in Logic and GarageBand and I'm also unsuccessful. If you end up with a project where it's happening, could you PM me and share it? Thank you!
I've had this problem too.
I appreciate the interest. Although, you may not find it all that interesting since there’s no guitars 😆
There’s a handful of different drum/percussion elements throughout. The break after the opening percussion loop and B00ga don’t have Tapescam applied, but the rest do.
As i said earlier, nothing i tried worked with the harsh transients, except for heavy filtering. I noticed tapescam also applies filtering, but your low pass sounds more forgiving . Sounded like i had to close other LP filters more than yours to eliminate my problem.

@Blipsford_Baubie i only run synths through my tapescam. Sounds awesome!
