What an odd way to spell Odyssei :)

Yes, it is a little odd, I see 😀

Bit of a bummer though...presets I've made in the standalone doesn't show up in the AUv3...

    Well, something's of with export/import...

I exported all my user presets from the standalone version, opened an AUv3 instance in AUM and imported them. They showed up as expected and were playable. I unloaded the plugin and reloaded it and, hey, presto...all my user presets were gone again... :/

can confirm that. but it seems that imported presets get stored with the sate. so if one made a preset in aum it could work. you would have to load the preset erverytime though

edit: just tried. it works that way

  • Someone can please learn me what the appeal of wavestation is? Nostalgia? 80’s sounds? Not dissing but I really don’t get it, then again I’m probably not the target audience and I have way too many synths already

I gotta admit, I'm not digging it either, and I LOOOOVE Korg M1. Wavestation sounds like Unreal 1 soundtrack to me, and I never was a fan of it.

That's what I've been doing for the last hour, and all I hear is cheesy 80's sounds, and not very varied. Weird, I thought this is gonna be an insta-buy for a M1 fan.

Didn’t expect this! Seems like forever ago that they said all their apps would get an AUv3 makeover, but I suppose late is better than not at all.

Hm ... I wonder if that will ever apply to iElectribe.

Yah that would be most on my wishlist and given they made it a VST not too long ago maybe there is a possibility it gets AUV3

Update says auv3 now supported, but I’ve restarted iPad and cannot find anywhere…

It’s working fine in both Stand-alone and AUv3 in Cubasis 3 - which has also been updated

Nothing was showing up on the User cards in the AUv3 version at first. I exported one preset from the standalone version, imported it to the AUv3 version.
Then suddenly all my presets were showing up in the AUv3, even though I’d only imported the one.
Not sure why that did it? 🤷‍♀️
Seems like Korg need to tweak something, but it could be a temporary workaround for you.

Speaking of cards, are we missing some after this update? I mean I see the “KLC” card, but weren't there some others, like a “Classic” or similar? I also vaguely remember an “Oriental” or something?

Maybe they combined them into the 1-6 cards ?

Not really all that important to me, just something I noticed.

  • Anyone know of a good resource to download new patches?

Are you sure you're not thinking of the cards in iM1?

You’re right, that’s exactly what I was thinking of. Thanks!

  • I have all 21 cards, if you are missing some of them, go into File/Buy/Restore Sound Packs

  • Just D/Led. Boy there's some classic sounds here. Love the randomization feature. Have had some great results with that one.

  • How are things regarding exposed AU parameters? Are lots of controls available?

It’s possible to design special sounds, it does take time to get used to the complex architecture.

Just bought this. Man does it sound good. I’m just preset surfing and am amazed.

The secret sauce is in editing. Randomized too. But go into edit mode, you can edit each instrument and even add more instruments to play different as you press soft or harder on the keys! Mind boggling!!!

My wife and I paired it with Aparillo on a track we started last night and it legit sounds like something from a sci fi horror soundtrack . Loving the hell out of it

  • So Manu classic sounds - been looking in all the wrong places for them. Really hope for the iMS20 and mono/poly next. And the iOddessey - for bass and leads - the iPoly6 was my first music app, and I go back to it sometimes for a time travel. But I Think iMS20 is probably the one I miss the most.

    I’ve found an Easter Egg!
In the standalone version, hit the ‘Info’ button and tap the top row (iWavestation icon)
You’ll get a little Pong game to play, accompanied by the currently selected patch.
The Auv3 version doesn’t seem to work though; I only get one Paddle, and I can’t quit out of it.
    Have fun!
