Since this update I cannot use Gadget with audiobus anymore. Is it just me?Am I doing
something wrong.I want to play for example Bilbao "by hand" and record into Auria.
I only get a blank wavefile,nothing recorded.PLEASE HELP!
IPad4,iOS 7.1.2 ,latest Audiobus.
Same here, I thought it was just the effects not affecting Gadget but it also doesn't record anything into Audioshare. iPad4 iOS 8.1.1
Great update!Isn't it?
so great I've been investigating Caustic 3 this morning ...
I'm guessing no one else noticed because everyone is using Gadget on its own...
Maybe it works again if I update to iOS8 and buy Module....
stupid,but I'm just angry.My God,who is testing these updates?
I'm on iOS8 and I have the Module... but try it anyway
You should post your problems here:

They have an eye on this forum.I posted a few suggestions just a few days ago and got a reply from korg within one day.Although it was only a"thanks for your feedback!!" but hey, better than nothing
Urgh... i'm staying away from iOS8 and the Gadget update... nothing extra for me in their update anyway as far as I can see.
Hope it gets resolved soon.
Pardon me, but what is the point to have Gadget and its modules, then Module and own modules and after all we can load Module's modules into Gadget? Wouldnt it be simplier to just add piano modules into Gadget app?
And what abou the potential buyer that doesn't own gadget and want to use this in Cubasis etc?Or standalone?
@firejan82 No,I was just kidding.I'll stay with 7.1.2.And I don't need more pianos.But I do
almost everything in Audiobus, that's why I'm made about an update that doesn't work in
Audiobus anymore.
@Matt-Fletcher-2000 ++++
you can delete module and still use the gadgets
I have to try that.
Amazing stuff. These Japanese engineers are good. I hope they fix the AB/IAA issue soon.

Thanks for this. Always a brave man to try the first oyster
Yep. That's interesting. In this senario I wonder how much ram deleting module saved?
Deleting Module won't remove the Ivory and Wurley IAP expansions from the system. I deleted Module, because the app sizes under iOS settings didn't make sense (after downloading the 2gb something inside Module, it was still reported as 1.2gb which is the original size), and I wanted to see if iOS reported more then 1.2gb freed up space after deleting it, which it didn't. So I reinstalled Module, and this time the Ivory and Wurley were already present, I didn't have to re-download them. They were never gone from Gadget when I deleted Module either. So from a users perspective it does indeed look like both apps are accessing one central sample pool. I wonder what happens if you delete both Module and Gadget, will you get those gigabytes taken up by the Ivory and Wurley download back? I really wish Korg wouldn't be so quiet about this, I've asked and gotten no straight answers as to how it's all working in regards to this same-or-not-same sample pool thing. I mean neither app reports an appsize increase to iOS, so where are those 2-2,5gb of downloaded samples....Personally I'm just curious at his point, coz if it works as it looks (if that makes sense), that's a huge thing for ios musicians.
Version 1.1 only brought me bugs: no IAA and no Audiobus. iPad4 iOS 7.1.2
Fix this, Korg!
Ok so Korg got back saying that the samples/expansions are "settled on a shared area between Module and Gadget". And the samples(+expansions) will be deleted if both apps are deleted.
So this is kinda cool, and new. No more double sets of samples in Tabletop and the Akais perhaps? Or one centralized sample pool (governed by AUdioshare or something:) that any audio app can tap into? Thats how it sounds to me at least in whats possible now, in how Korg put it..
Very interesting info @ChrisG and I think your surmising sounds about right.

Potential buyer will buy Gadget (same price) and buy modules he wants, abudhabi or ivory... But all will be under one hood
I am curious whats happens after deleting Korg Module. Will the new gadgets stay available in Gadget?

^According to this the answer to your question should be yes.
I'm not really interested in the preset stuff that's Korg Module so I don't think I'll waste £20 on this because I have those samples on my Korg Kronos that I could sample on my iPad anyway. I'm a bit disappointed with Korg and their recent updates. I was hoping there would be a proper sampler gadget with keyboard style keys and traditional editing like loop, time stretch, and ADSR.
Aww... I love that
I dont' know it this has been mentioned, but I'm getting a lot of glitches in playback when on the edit screen.
It seems to be related to the new Module Gadgets. I have an 8 bar string pad going and the ivory grand on another channel, that's all - I can't playback from the edit screen of either without glitches all the time. Playing back from the arrange screen works fine.
I'm on an iPad Air 2 so the hardware should not be the problem ;-)
If anyone would try to reproduce it, try this and let us know:
Playing chords in Salzburg will give more glitches.
silky smooth here.....ipad air 2 128gb...following the above steps...
how much ssd space do you have left?
