new update
with IAP CloudZ
but the IAP cant be bought here...
does it work for you?!?
No not working just gives a web address!
I can confirm the same issues after the latest update: the placeholder name is shown instead of the new IAP.
Samesies. I contacted VirSyn.
Do I remember right that something similar happened with a previous Tera Pro IAP? Getting a real feeling of deja vu...
That is correct. Can’t remember for which iap the placeholder was for but it was there for quite a while.
Edit: here it is. July 2025 and it was for Cloudz.

I'm fairly sure this is the same placeholder menu entry that appeared some time ago, only to be removed with the previous update.
I think you’re right. Maybe Harry will shed some light on this.
Hi all, sorry about this. The release has two parts - the App itself and the in app purchase.
This time the review of the in app purchase is stuck in whatever loop while the App itself is released.
Bad timing. Trying to get some insight from Apple...
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards
Harry
Thanks, Harry!
Thanks @VirSyn Harry - love TeraPro!

Great thanks! Been looking forward to this one for a long time!
I saw this and was excited to explore the new update
3.1.0
- new IAP module for granular synthesis CloudZ
I should have checked here first before spending so much time trying to find the IAP after updating.
Mike
Fantastic that it's getting granular though. Goes from strength to strength. @VirSyn - are there any plans to release a Windows VST version. I'd certainly buy it🙂
Any news on the IAP?
Not yet
Sorry, no news yet.
Done everything I can think of - now waiting for Apple to respond or to finish the review.
I'll let you know all as soon as it's ready and once again thank you for your patience...
Harry
No worries ... been waiting a long time for this latest addition to one of my top synths. A few more days is fine
👍
Hi all,
Read to go, the IAP CloudZ is finally available!!!!!!
Have fun!
Harry
thnx Harry!
pls post some examples
of how to use it inside Tera!
Bought it, sounds great judging by the presets.
I guess I should dig up the Mutable Instruments manual to better understand what it all does:
https://w2.mat.ucsb.edu/mat276n/resources/systems/CREATE_teachingSynth/manuals/18_CLOUDS.pdf
For me, the Blend paramaters were a bit esoteric without the manual at hand.
Edit: and kudos @VirSyn , Tera Pro is the gift that keeps giving.
Thanks, it’s now in the IAP section of Tera Pro, but before I buy it I will wait until have seen some demo’s and be certain it’s something that I will use 👍
Mike
Just watched the TERA CloudZ Granular on YouTube, liked it, now purchased 👍
I just added 4 new videos and a playlist for all including the CloudZ module:
In addition to the original Mutable Instruments manual posted above you can also take a look at the Tera Pro manual inside the App ( tap on question mark and then Open user manual") for further details.
I still haven't yet spent time with the input module to work out interesting patches that could then go on to be granulized, as opposed to feeding input directly to cloudz more like a granular effect than granular synth, so like, using input-as-exciter of a karplus midi played sound that then gets cloudz'd.
Just an observation, it is interesting how Tera Pro with some of these ports of third party modules, evolves in to this kind of hybrid of on the one hand self-contained synth of modules and on the other sort of "rack" style platform. Not exactly of course, but I perceive it sort of like that.
Bro when you gonna add favorite option?
Thanks, this looks great, time to make noise
Hi @VirSyn,
Thanks for the update, I have loaded the CloudZ and set BrainZ as input. I can hear BrainZ but changing the controls on CloudZ makes no difference, perhaps a simple demo on set-up would be helpful - to me anyway.
Thanks in advance
No audio out with this configuration

@rapidfire
Try turning the Blend knob in the Amp module all the way to the right. It fades between the two inputs of Amp.
