Try turning the Blend knob in the Amp module all the way to the right. It fades between the two inputs of Amp.

    Thank you 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻

  • In a patch like KB Manglevoice, if you play the keys you get a repeating vocal sound, but where is this audio coming from?

The cloudz module is set to input, but i‘m not inputting anything and i can‘t see any other signal source.

If i change Freeze setting or Audio quality (red icons) then the scrap of audio disappears and the keys don‘t produce any noise.

    Hi @drewinnit,
I thought it was just me having the same issues you just mentioned, I’m not having much success with CloudZ, it’s still a bit of a mystery to me, I usually have to re-select the same preset and start again, but in the end I just close Tera Pro and hope that @Doug, @Gavinski or @sfm will do a tutorial in the not too distant future to help me navigate CloudZ.

Yeah it's leaving my scratching my head a little at times. Sometimes the output seems very quiet, then I tweak something a little, then it's clipping into the red.

Also having trouble relating the Pitch setting to the pitch of the output. It's OK at 0 (no change) or 24 (+2 octaves), but 12 often doesn't set output pitch to an octave above 0. In some cases I have to set it to 22 to get +1 octave, and at others it's hard to find a setting that doesn't give a microtonal pitch change.

Definitely recommend putting a limiter after it until we figure it out as it can get VERY loud very quickly which is not ideal with headphones.

Also, it seems to generate the most interesting results with modulation. For more rhythmic effects I'm finding using a square wave or S&H LFO works best if you want glitching rather than the pitch smearing of using a sine LFO for example.

First impressions is that we might need to work a little harder in CloudZ to get results which are more immediate with other similar effects but that with more experimentation its subtleties will show. And the Spectral Madness option is a little annoying as it doesn't tell you what it does, but the original module didn't tell you either, so no shade on Harry for that! It does clip into the red very easily so it will need some taming to work it out.

Good purchase though, but definitely still at the foot of the mountain, and of course when combined with other Tera Pro IAPs and features I'm confident it will find its place very soon.

And of course it's also possible to wire up a patch so CloudZ feeds back into itself ...

The audio buffer is saved as part of the preset! If you freeze the buffer during playing around and then save the patch the buffer will get saved too.

thanks for the tip - I guessed this was the case but good to have confirmation :)

I think the preset saves the audio that is in the buffer when tapping freeze?!

I got the IAP to support TeraPro but prefer to use the clods module via MiRack for now…

  • does this port of clouds
    has all the alternative firmwares?

I haven’t got that far when it comes to setting the Pitch.
I agree it’s a good purchase especially after watching all the YouTube demos and hearing what it is capable of doing.
I still believe we need that little tutorial help so we can dive into the app

  • @VirSyn great stuff Harry.

I’ve always thought tera pro could use pinch to zoom, or a zoom slider. I’m on phone a lot and find it tricky scrolling round the interface. I’m not sure how easy this would be to implement though

I would imagine it being quite difficult using a phone for manipulating CloudZ - and Tea Pro itself

The knob works in the same weird manner as the hardware, but the shown scaling was wrong.
I decided to make the knob working the way other knobs in Tera. The new update 3.1.2 is available right now fixing this.
