Sorry, I am not a fan of electronic music, so what is the timeline plan for the release of the different flavours of New SoundPrism Apps? any plans for an ambient one?

Ambient was actually what we wanted to do next.

Exactly thats how it works, glad you figured it out
Should it work with Gadget? I bought it and followed the tutorial but there's no options within Gadget to set up midi to receive from Soundprism and it's not triggering Gadgets sounds.
@musikmachine Works for me in latest Gadget in Audiobus using an iPad Air 2. You have to have a Gadget open but other than that you don't need to change any settings in either app.
Thanks. Think i hadn't clicked on the clip to receive midi, working now!
Seems to be possible, new app also for 7. "FLUX"

Slight issue here, when i'm playing bass and pad it's playing the bass right down on C0 which is too low, the pad is at C2 and lead at C3 so i guess it's meant to but is there some way to set the octave? If not i'd like to request an option to set the bass octave or transpose the notes. Thanks!
I sadly haven't tried this yet (no iOS 8) but one thing I can imagine wanting because I want it occasionally when using the built in sounds in SP Pro is very basic tone shaping: attack, release and LPF. Not even resonance. Maybe decay and a HPF but those seem kinda nerdy for a large swath of who I imagine the user base is.
If you already own SoundPrism Pro you can get Electro at a reduced price... with the SoundPrism Enthusiasts bundle. It also works the other way: if you own Electro, SoundPrism pro is a few bucks cheaper if you grab the bundle.
Enjoy!

Wish I'd been smart enough to figure this out before I bought Electro. Lost a quarter, found a nickel feeling....all good
@Sebastian already having SP Pro, must say the bundle is a great deal ... Will the $4.99 intro price for Electro/$7.99 for the bundle be here through Xmas?
The Midi options have me intrigued and I'm hoping for an iTunes gift card in my stocking, right underneath the lump of coal

Yep.

I'm glad you're not that upset about it. We'll gladly take your extra monies and make more cool apps with it!
Awesome.
@Sebastian so is the bass supposed to play at C0? This is in with Live playing three synths btw. I can put a pitch plugin on the bass channel but C0 seems a lil too low, i don't even play sub basses that low! Cheers.
@musikmachine said:
We'll look into that. Obviously our own sound engine handles this well but I guess it's not ideal for external synths. If you use MIDI Bridge you can transpose notes on channel 1, but of course that's not an ideal solution.
Great, so I was just about to buy it completing my bundle. Since I'm lazy to enter my password in the AppStore I used the phone with TouchID. Turns out the new soundprism electro is no longer a universal app but iPad only. Seriously? What's this trend of devs abandoning the iPhone? Sorry but I won't buy it without iPhone support. I really don't get it.

Thanks for letting me know! I was already getting a little angry there. Sorry for my little rant.
@munibeast no apology needed, it's certainly a valid concern
Oops! My question has already been answered.
@Sebastian said:
Thanks. I don't have midibridge but an option to set the bass would be great but seems to go against the grain of what you're about from the help. But on some basses it sounded ok depending on how they were programmed but others on lower octaves were very difficult to hear.
Ambient? Interested, too
New app or iap?
Hi, everybody.
I asked to Sebastian (PM) about Soundprism bundle. When I bought SP Pro it was at 6,99€ (4,99€ now). When I'm going to checkout the bundle it shows "See" and when I push the button it shows "Get" (actually, "Obtener" in spanish), which is the message when an app is for free. So my question was simple: May I get SP Electro for free through the bundle or it is a mistake made by the Apple fairies?
Since I'm still running iOS 7.1.2 I gave a try through iTunes in my laptop and when in the bundle it was "Gratis" (free), so...who said fear? I downloaded it...
Let's see if I'll get charged (or not) in the next days, but it really doesn't matter, the app deserves the price. I'll inform here with the result.
Absolutely in love with the App! I Wanted to bump the concept of one-touch MIDI input to create the chords the way you do with absolute finesse here, and I'd love to recommend this app to our users as a ridiculously cool output for the jamstik.
I'm a producer a Zivix (makers of the jamstik), and one-touch chords is a concept we've had around for a while but haven't really executed as well as you have here. Our product is founded around teaching people to play the guitar, but providing them with interfaces like this is what keeps them playing and having fun! Any updates on whether you'd think about supporting this? We can provide any sort of custom mappings / output necessary on our end.
We actually exchanged a message or two on Twitter months back, and I applaud your inclusion of MIDI in / out! Let me know if you'd like to continue the conversation.. could have something very cool here.
Best,
-Matt
the important thing is having some sort of offset parameter that is adjustable so that the chords sound natural as opposed to mechanical.
By offset - do you mean that all the notes in the chord should not start at exactly the same time? I'm just interested...
yes and velocities as well.
Could 3D touch be implemented? Like the harder you press the louder the note.
Or, use it as a way to replace the mode buttons on iPad, light touch: lead only, medium touch: lead & chord, hard touch: chord only. And a setting to disable the feature or change sensitivity.
Also, how are the synths done? Are they samples, or synthesized real-time?
As part of your up-coming series, maybe add an app to make additional synths that can be used in the other apps in the series.
