  • Works fine here. Air 1/8.4

  • Just discovered i need to load this before audiobus ....then its ok....

  • Me making a bit of a mistake..iwas always under the impression you had to load audiobus first,
But i ran the fx on its own
Then loaded audiobus an my chosen input a drum machine, then linked to cubasis as the out

  • Thanks yo! I just knew this app would be a bit more tame and beat synched than my current apps. Is this this clock synched. Im sure it is huh

  • Anyone else having problems opening DFX in Cubasis as an insert or send fx (IAA)?
It hangs when i try to load and also Dm1 of the same dev. is crashing constantly even when i try to use it standalone. Ipad air ios 8.4

  • @Proto Can't speak to DFX in Cubasis (although I will look later), but DM1 is working fine for me this morning... Ai41/8.4

Yep it hung on me as well...after quitting both apps, I launched DFX, then Cubasis, then added DFX to a track as insert effect, and then it worked fine.

Aah good to hear it works. Will try again in the same order you describe. Thanks

  • On the small chance that Fingerlab check into the Audiobus forum I would like to draw attention to the fact that DFX will not load/operate as a IAA insert within Tonestack, I really hoped yesterdays update would fix this but sadly it is still buggered. have not found a contact for this developer.

Dude, try opening DFX first, then add it as an iaa insert. It always hangs for me in iaa unless i open dfx first. Just tried this in tonestack and it worked a treat. Same in mt.daw & audioshare. Love dfx, will work reliably via iaa if you open dfx first. This is on air2 ios 9.1 (but is same on my ipad 4 with ios8.4).

Thanks for this solution, all is now good, before yesterdays update I had tried this exact work around i.e. opening DFX first followed by Tonestack and it never worked but now as they say "all is well that ends well" ..... a grand outcome cheers!

  • But beware of saving a Tonestack preset with DFX as effect in it, because when that was the last preset you used, and you have closed everything and open Tonestack again: Tonestack hangs... and you get no message about what's going on.
