Well, not quoting correctly, but no judgement if Miley or Justin were big influences...of course, you'd have to clarify whether it was early Miley or current Miley... With 9 and 11 yr. old girls, when breakout was her current album, I heard it enough to memorize it. Some very good pop production on there (seriously).
Plus, some of it was produced by Matthew Wilder, so how can you not love that if you grew up in the 80's (I'm kidding, but I had never seen what he looked like until more recently and when I saw the break my stride video, he looked exactly like you'd imagine, with the mustache and striped shirt!)
@SecretBaseDesign and @syrupcore. Yup, Carol Kaye is one of the all time greats and I absolutely love her playing. Just don't say anything she doesn't remotely agree with now...back when I was on Facebook I agreed with her about something regarding piracy and she was very very nice to me. Then I asked a question about a jazz theory post she made to clarify something as I was confused, and she told me to get another career if I even had to ask that question! I almost replied that I am a social worker but figured there was no point in defending myself...And good gosh, do not mention Motown... Ha!
