  • Well does it?

  • I shall try that, but I would think it might

If this app can do core midi syncing and sequencing synths, it will be a pfm (pure fxxxxxx magic)?

I also hope it supports midi. If you wanna have some magic with your synths i can advice you Gestrument.

  • The circle connects the two end points is definitely running more flexible than a discrete line! The developer has well thought out to plot both the Dot Melody and Patterning! I wish Dot Melody can be ported to iPad and add more functions to it.

@Kobamoto there is a song mode also, and it's brilliant.

  • No way, that's awesome!

  • Yeah I do briefly go onto the song page

  • @mgmg4871 re: songmode, that's good to hear, I'd like to understand how it is implemented, may I ask you about your insights on it, please? Thank you.

    Yes!

  • What is the lowest Bpm it can go to ?? I hope less than 60. !!!
In fact what could be cool is to have different Bpm or rate of movement for each of those circles

oh man I was just about to ask the same !!!!!!!!!!! yes how low can it go and please as p e ask tell us that the patterns can have individual tempos, pretty please ?

  • I think I've read 20bpm

  • that's great although 6 bpm would be sweet, but man if each ring can have it's own it's gonna be a game changer.
I'm already willing to pay more than I was a minute ago for this capability.

  • I have this confused in my mind with the Super Sekrit AB thingie, but then just remembered this is still weeks away.

    Sigh.

  • what's the os requirement for patterning, anybody know?

  • edited July 2015

20 bpm lowest 400 bpm top

  • It reminds me a bit of an app I have on my phone, called bComposer Rhythm (on android).

  • @crzycrs maybe a photo will give you some insight.

Thank you Sir. Looks good. Like the fact even more that the few folks here who have put hands on the thing seem to be really enjoying the experience...

Does this mean you can change time signature at points along the timeline? How about tempo?

If so, now I am excited.

  • will it work on os 7.1.2 or is this an os 8 only affair ?

@mgmg4871 I think those screen shots are the shiniest, sparkliest things I've seen all year!
I love the fact you can easily (featured in dougs video) change the number of beat divisions per circle/piece of kit!

  • Didn't see anything in the video where you can edit the start point of a sound (I did see Attack). I was hoping one could draw in different start points/slices of a break or phrase (and maybe with option to snap it to transients or beat division).

  • You can edit the start and end points in the sample selector page, you can also adjust the gain of the sample there too, I do go into that page

  • @parallaxobject Agree, control of 'sample-start'(optionally quantised to note/step length) would be really handy and together with attack and decay the potential clicks could be eliminated too. But then again I feel Sector is more suited for beat-mangling and I suspect sync will work just fine between the two apps.

Satisfied? this time, politely asking you!
