  • When you guys test apps do you have to battle with learning the UI on top of it all? Or is that part of the point?

    s.

    Very generous of you, thanks!

Having it bought already, I'd like to point out how nice to investigate the concept of your work was (during testing) and is (now), representing a very inviting 'drummachine' - 'sampling' - 'sequencing' environment.

  • Really generous -thanks a lot!

  • And thanks for sorting her out for iOS 9

  • One part of FingerBeat that is easy to miss is the FX button on the 'Beat Projects' page, all the effects also apply when recording sounds directly to the pads and to the 'tape'. Equally easy to miss are the 'Tape Effects' that are hiding in the top-left menu on the tape-screen.

I do wish that the 'noise gate' could also optionally stop the recording once the level falls bellow the threshold as it is still a bit tricky to permanently trim the sounds in FingerBeat.

A quick rough-selection of the playback portion in % is already possible in the pad-settings and it would also come in handy to be able export that portion as a new sample or simply 'crop in place' to remove the area around the selection.

I'd also like to take the opportunity to welcome @serge to the AudioBus Forums :)

Thank you for the warm welcome Samuel :)

Indeed, a better way to trim the sounds from pad settings or keyboard will have to be implemented sooner or later.
As ever a few bugs have been introduced with iOS9... For example: The top and bottom left corners reset values reverb/delay values.... Expect a fix for this soon. We are working on new features and refinements to be released progressively.

Here is what to expect soonish:

    • New sounds designed by Mr. Oli Bell

    • Core midi.

    • Help & tip videos

    • Share beat projects between devices.

More to come but I cannot over-promise.

    Cheers.

  • @serge

Gives a nice warm feeling when we get Devs here letting us know that development continues. Welcome to the forums.

  • @serge welcome and well done.
