Mixed in Cubasis 3..
Why not use Loopy Pro’s sequencer/DAW/timeline thingamagigie?
See in line
Tap on the eye icon in AU windows to toggle whether the AU icon is visible in the main user interface
You can move mixer channels by tapping band dragging the top part of the channel left or right
thanks, i had not realized the eye icon did that, should have thought.
Btw, the Loopy manual is online (while it is not 100% complete it is largely there) and available through Loopy's Help menu.
Not there yet.. still trying to set up a ‘LaunchPad app’ thingy… Such a deep app..😁
I just discovered that there’s a separate Loopy forum. This is the only community site linked to from within the Loopy Pro app itself.
https://forum.loopyapp.com/
There’s also the Discord.
https://discord.io/loopypro
There’s the Slack for the beta which is still quite active, but I assume it’s meant to remain kind of an exclusive community.
And there’s this Audiobus forum.
For those who have spent more time on these, what role do you see these different communities having? I’m in the mode of “absorb everything Loopy” right now, but following and participating in four different communities seems like a bit much.
It is getting confusing. I think the Slack should stay for beta testers. Beta testing will be ongoing and much of the discussion there wouldn't only confuse users of the released version.
I'm disinclined toward Discord, but it can be useful for more real-time discussion I guess.
The Loopy forum requires a separate user registration? That's odd to me.
And I'm apparently not smart enough to get past the f*ing captcha apparently. 😂
And ... no dark mode.
meh.
There’s also a Facebook users group, apparently. It is getting a little bit fragmented. I’m going to have to make some decisions soon!
Side side note, I’ve been trying out Luminar as a possible photo management for my tens of thousands of images, but it is not that great; Picasa used to be ace but is long gone, anyone any alternative suggestions for Mac? - I’ve hunted about hoping for some sort of AI solution that would auto tag stuff, but maybe use not yet a thing…

I’m in. Fax me the details.
Or just send a serf round with a telegram
Pigeons work well too
Subscribe first to the listserv, and we'll take it from there.
Usenet! BBS! 😄
Now I'm kicking myself for getting rid of my old 80286 PC with the cool orange CRT and the cutting edge 2400 baud modem running that old bbs server. We could have sewn this up right here and now.
Awww man. I could’ve set up my autodialer to test out different codes on different LDS’s so we could all use the codes for free long distance service.
Guess we’ll just have to rely on our dodgy ISDN to communicate for the next few days until the Wi-Fi comes back online in my Snow covered Cabin in the woods.
Thanks for your attention Mr. genius developer!
I finally have been getting somewhere with the app after attributing most of the glitchy behavior and crashes/lockups due to my home made MIDI foot controller. For some reason Loopy did not like that particular controller. Once I resolved the MIDI hardware issue things are working much better for me now.
If I run into more erratic behavior I will most definitely send a video your way.
Congratulations on the release of this milestone in iPad audio production apps!
Just wondering is there a way to have the MIDI clock follow the tempo when I change the speed or speed and pitch of all loops, so that my drums follow in AUM?
I recommend using Ableton Link.
That does not work. Of course it works if you change tempo but it does not work for following speed clip settings.
I misunderstood what you wanted. The clip pitch and speed settings are specific to an individual clip and don't impact the project tempo. So, it wouldn't be possible for changing a clip's speed to change the clock/tempo. The way to change the speed of all clips in Loopy is to change the tempo. All clips automatically will be time-stretched to the new tempo.
@espiegel123
If you bind all clip speed settings to a controller the results are spectacular. To bad that it does not control the speed of the MIDI clock simultaneously. A major oversite IMHO
If you are changing the speed of all clips, why not just control the tempo directly? It will do the exact same time-stretching of all your clips AND update the clock.
OK....I will try that....thanks for the input. I did not think that would work. It looks like I made a major over site IMHO....Laughs at self.
I see that you can bind it with a CC MIDI controller but I find no way to control it with a widget. Unfortunately.
Just listen to Tool and you’ll get it
Anything you can control with midi you can control with a widget; just add the widget you want to use and hook it up to the action. For more see loopypro.com/manual/#widgets and loopypro.com/manual/#actions (The latter is still a work in progress)
Ahh, this is brilliant 😎 I was wondering if there was any way to make a momentary 'hold to set the send to delay to max' button for some dub-style delay action. Sounds like it's not only possible, but super easy! 👍
Other things I was wondering is what the score is with multi track recording of projects/performances and if there's some way of bouncing a donut or colour to a new loop including its effects chain?
Overall I'm hugely impressed with Loopy Pro. I've tried so many different ways of making music over the past couple of years, but the immediacy and workflow available here is truly something special, so thank you @Michael 🙏
Some small workflow suggestions I'd make after having used it a bit is some way of previewing sample files in the file browser when importing wavs, and a simple way of swapping out auv3s from the mixer view
Thanks again 🙂

You can resample from donuts to other donuts. See the link to the article about resampling on the Loopy wiki:
