Not as bothered as you about the sample chopping/editing. Will want to bring things in polished already, but am pleased at the stretch and pitch playing options. I am a neophyte in this kind of construction comparatively however...

Agree APART from the the part about it being no match. That takes us back to the actually doing/making/producing/finishing. I'll let you know about that -for me- in due course. For you, especially with your depth of understanding and love/investment in IMPC, I fully understand...
Beautiful UI, and seems very promising. $4.99 intro price is also greatly appreciated.
I do wonder - is there any way to rip some of the content out to get this thing under 800MB? It's one thing to spend $5 on a 10MB synth you just pull out once in a blue moon to mess around with. It's another thing to occupy nearly a gig of a very limited harddrive for a full music creation system that may or may not click with me.
Will watch some videos and buy it I can find some musical use for it. Congrats on the release and nice-looking app!
final results and outputs will always vary, like I said once you get your samples its a easy to make songs with this thing and in a way it has that over bm2 if you like a pattern based approach but for me personally anything that samples and has so little sample editing ability is something I find unfortunate.
the time stretch is great… it's a weird app, I don't know why they put a cool feature like realtime stretch and all those great formats it can read, and a great song mode but skimped on everything else
but with it's quick compositional abilities I bet it's the quickest sketchpad in beatmachine form on iOS. that's not bad for $5bucks great exporting features etc…
I think uvi really put their own twist on this format and it will be interesting to see what they do next.
wish I could figure out how to resample on this thing, I guess export and reimport bah humbug!
so from @JohnnyGoodyear's screenshot... audiocopy does work ? Hopefully it would at least keep the filename from AudioShare but it looks like the file gets a "general pasteboard" title.
That video feels like South Park with humans.
best thing to do is skip the promo vid entirely
so it's got network midi in but no out
So,it comes with 2 kits but still has this incredible 800+ MB?Does it mean the IAPs are already installed and you just unlock them?Or 2 Kits with each 400 filesize?Sounds a bit much to me.Confused.
the song mode is very well thought out, I think once you get your stuff in it will be nice to write with.
so where is this copy paste cause I can't find it?
Can't find ACP either...
nevermind,
so far every time I paste audio from copy paste it crashes
To paste, tap the "hamburger" (3 stacked horizontal lines) twice.
Deja vous, where's the dev, oh yeah, nevermind.
Thank you @telecharge. Hidden feature, sort of.

The EDM library (EDM Factory.ufs) is 644 MB.
EDIT: Urban Factory.ufs is 112 MB and the library demos for IAP add another 58 MB.
Perhaps we are in such a minority as regards ACP. I would love to know how many folks per thousand users actually want to bring stuff in. I suppose with their business model being predicated on selling plenty of sample packs it makes sense (to the accountants) to be low key about the whereabouts of the roll-your-own section...
is anyone not seeing the IAPs? so far i only have 2 banks in the library, 'factory songs' and user library. there is a little red bar on the top of the screen that seems to be a download progress bar, for a moment i saw something that may have read 'downloading' or 'refreshing iap', but it seems to be stuck. servers getting slammed? anyone else seeing this?
It is possible to rename(After ACP) or copy(AudioCopy) an user owned sample by performing a two finger touch on the row.
@Zetagy I'm seeing 'em. 10 bucks a pop.
@BastienCo Thanks, I was just looking into that. Delete is there as well.
EDIT: @Zetagy Tap "Browser" to see the IAP.
@BastienCo @telecharge Huzzah, well done brilliant people.
There are some IAPs cheaper than that (still as much if not more than the app), but the ones I might want are indeed around 10 bucks. Just enough to make me persevere with importing
anybody having any luck deleting sample library?
@telecharge: thanks for the info
@telecharge got it thanks
the realtime time stretch is not like ableton, it's kind of pseudo in that you have to find the right tempo through messing around with the stretch percentage properties, after you find the correct tempo then it time stretches globally if you change tempo…. at least that's my very confused take on it
what's the select button for?
well i'm going to have to make a complete retraction… this app isn't for me unfortunately, if you like this then you definitely should check out Beatmachine!
Seriously though, thanks for the heads up on the two fingered tap, could have stared at that all night....
