A couple music apps with IAP sales.
What? Forever?

Who has bought all Swams ?
I bought 7 Trumpets before. I could buy more because the subtle difference is good
but just asking.
What could be essential 2 apps of each bundle because if you buy 3. May as well just go for the ( I got all swam instruments )
Dont think im doing dev a dis-service because as I say. 7 Trumpets is enough eapecially without a general midi plan for all instruments but even more Trumpets ( all I own ) Are tempting.
Got all strings (all very good), all flutes (all very good - only got the piccolo because of the bundle and use it more than I expected to), all double reeds (these are fantastic and I can vouch for their authenticity having played all extensively irl), both clarinets (good - bass especially), all trumpets (absolutely agree these are all excellent - piccolo is my favourite), all saxes (excellent), couple of trombones (not so impressed with these), a French horn (ditto), and just to prove it's not some fault in their low brass model the euphonium is excellent. I've played all the woodwinds for years irl but I'm surprised at how much I enjoy being a 'brass player' now.
Thanks.
So generally all apps from the bundles lol
Got a tuba eb and french horn.
Think I returned Euphonium but seems its good.
Is the tuba the lowest brass?
Dosent mean its best.
Sometimes I think the french horn is better and forget the low end of tuba eb.
Huuuuuuuhhhhh ?
I know. I just heard it’s sad news. There are a few other sources I use, but it was one of my main 3.

Music Apps with IAP Sales
Unless Apple are shutting them down I can’t imagine why. Do they not get commission on links to purchases? Even without that it’s a pretty foolproof way to profit from advertising.
I’m pretty sure Apple has nothing to do with it. No commission from apps, apple ended that many years ago. Only from affiliate marketing/ads for other products or services. But like any biz if the cost and time spent isn’t showing any returns, it becomes more burden then business.
Cem Olcay Couple App Sale

CaptureDSLR is free usually $9.99 use to control DSLR/Mirrorless Camera
Of course they don't get commission as there are no affiliate links on Apple's Appstore any more. Apple dropped that about 6 years ago. It likely made it difficult for them to be profitable. It's the same in the iOS YouTube scene - none of us are getting any commission when people click our links. Unfortunately many viewers are not aware of this and think they are financially supporting YouTubers by using the appstore links we provide. We don't make a penny from those links. It makes it extemely difficult to be a YouTuber in this space, unfortunately, and is why so many iOS YouTubers have quit or switched niche in recent years.

Yeah, it's a bummer but I suspect you're exactly right. Online advertising is a sewer these days, you see it even on major sites that you'd think could draw good advertisers. Running a site like that would have to be largely a labor of love, and sometimes a labor of love turns into just labor. Cheers to Appsliced, it was a valuable resource for a long time!
Definitely, a big shout out to Appsliced, we will miss you.
It does sound like whoever runs appsliced will continue with some efforts on their social, but obviously not quite the same.
Yonac - New Release - Special Intro Price For A Limited Time
Aries Rotary Speaker & Amp is 50% off at $6.99
Yup. It’s the sad reality of the situation.
Makes sense. What was their reasoning behind dropping affiliate links? Seems like they would only benefit from communities incentivized to create buzz about their products. They still do it with many of their other products.
I'm not sure! I guess they just wanted to keep for themselves the 15% that used to go to affiliates. Perhaps they felt that the ecosystem was so well established that they didn't need to pay for marketing any more. But as explained above, it would certainly have resulted in fewer sales of iOS music production apps versus desktop plugins. I'd imagine it was similarly detrimental in other niches. So seems like a short-sighted move.

IK Multimedia sells a plug in very similar to this. Jim Yonac must've gotten additional experience from developing his King B organ app which proved useful for this rotary plugin.
StaffPad is on sale for $49.99 and all the 3rd party libraries are $10-20 when they are normally $30-100.
FULL DISCLOSURE: You must get the official Apple Pencil to write notes.
After tweaking some presets in Galileo Organ 2 to my own taste, I would suppose that a proper Leslie can make a big difference... or bring Galileo 2 closer to King B.
Haven't tried it though.
