How do expansions work if you already own an app with the same sounds. For example, if I own BASSalicious, Do I have to pay for the IAP in Pure Synth?
If you install both apps, you should find a "cross-grade" option in the Bassalicious app. Press that and it installs those sounds in Pure Synth.

Bear with me here… this is slightly confusing, lol.
For Bassalicious 1 & 2 specifically there is only 1 IAP and it’s to import wavetables
I believe the additional IAP expansions are separate purchases, but what’s interesting is I’m not sure if BlueBeast IAP expansion in the separate/standalone app, is also included in that BB expansion IAP inside PSP?
If you unlock an app like BB inside PSP do you get all of the separate app’s content including any additional IAPs or do you only get the apps “factory content” and no additional expansions?

If you try to buy an IAP inside PSP you get three options Price, Info, Refresh. If you press info you go to their website which explains what is included in each IAP.

Is there any advantage in buying these as a PSP iap versus standalone? I’m leaning towards standalone as I find the PSP interface a little unappealing 😳
I think the big one is PSP is available on both iPhone and iPad where the other individual apps are iPad only.

Thanks Poppa! Good point. I did a bit of reading and I believe there are some other advantages to the PSP route such as modulation options.
I was trying to install BAM on my phone since it now has iPhone support (yay) but imthe App Store is asking me to pay again, weirdly (I already have it on my iPad).
However I am posting here since I see the price is 9.99 now so it must be on sale currently!

That aside - does anyone know how I can get it to show that I already own this on the App Store? I assume if I do approve the purchase, it might not actually charge me as it determines that I do own it already - but I don’t really want to chance it.

Weirdly I could see it as part of my purchased apps in Settings, but not the App Store list of purchased apps.
In any case I bought it even though it said it would charge me 9.99, and once that got accepted I got a pop-up saying it would be free because I already own it 🤷🏻♂️
If this ever happens, it does sometimes, press purchase button, but close the Face/Thumb confirmation to buy. Once closed the app will show the “cloud download” icon.
Or search through purchased apps in the App Store under your profile icon.
