Can you record audio from the iPad over USB into the L6?
yes that works. 2 Stereo channels.
Aw yea 🙂
Thanks!!!
on my iPad Loopy Pro see only channel 1 & 2, but if I install AUM and open it before Loopy Pro it see all the channels.... very strange behavior
Have you updated the firmware yet? There was a firmware bug that caused the interface to not show the correct inputs and outputs in some cases.
For some reason my L6 with firmware 1.10 is not detected by my iPad Air Gen 3 via the Camera Connection Kit and Lightning.
I've mainly tried in AUM, which others have reported as working on iPads with USB-C. Someone on Elektronauts also said it was working for them on an older iPad, though it was running a much older OS while I'm on 18.5.
Is there anything else I can try?
It is found on my Mac Mini in Ableton, so the hardware seems fine.
It turned out that this only works on my iPad Air Gen 3 if the tablet is on mains power via the CCK.
The L6 is detected as expected when in multitrack mode.
What I want to do is use it to apply different effects to my Elektron boxes via AUM.
My first attempt sort of worked if I had an AUM template using a mix bus, and the output of the mix bus set to USB 3+4.
With the USB 3+4 button activated on the L6, the effects are applied to each track. However, with this approach muting and soloing channels in AUM doesn't work as expected.
Is anyone else doing this?
I thought I had this thing figured out and then I hit a button on the L6 that routed everything onto a loop back and almost caused a supernova explosion of feedback 😓
If I am using AUM and want to have a couple external instruments and AUV instruments playing through some effects, what’s the setup?
I had it working for a while and I thought I knew how to do this …but I guess I massively screwed up and now I’m hesitant on trying anything else lol
The inputs called 1/2 are loopback from the L6. The inputs labeled 3/4 are the first and second input channels of the l6.
So if I plug into 3, on my iPad i select input 1?> @espiegel123 said:
