Here’s a bit of an update to the Armagedgiator.
https://patchstorage.com/armagedgiator/
This is not a new device I put up on patchstorage, but a little trick I discovered for creating random drum kits (random from a limited amount of samples, which probably makes the most sense, too). Maybe I'll make more of these bitesized videos if I stumble upon something interesting.
I’ve been tinkering on a loop mangler for some time now and get close to where I’m really happy with it. I’m gonna put it on gumroad for a buck or pay what you want soon. Here’s a little preview;
This is the first upload of mine, that has actual sounds come out of it and not just Mididata. It’s called JFK and aims rather low. Get it here:

Thanks for so many Drambo patches!
@Poppadocrock Cheers, my pleasure. Thanks for checking them out!
Here’s another drum synth. Technically this is an oscillator ringmodulated with band passed noise. It’s good for hats and weird percussion sounds.

You 3 are my dRambo gurus (OP, gravitas and rs2000)!
@yellow_eyez holy shit, Thank you so much! Absolutely made my day
gravitas and rs2000 certainly know a whole lot more about Drambo than I do, but I'm getting rather confident in my racks, and confidence doesn't come easy for me.
Excellent! And thanks a lot for posting.
Spending some time with Drambo definitely pays off, and being playful helps too.
Believe it or not, I've learned a lot by helping others to make their ideas real!
@rs2000 Thanks:)
Drambo is so far the piece of music software that inspired me the most, and that let me use ideas from many other worlds (like Ned Rush's Ableton wizardry or dash glitch's vital trickery).
I'm trying to get into max for live-patching, too, but so far Drambo does a lot more for me. I hope m4l gets more inspiring, when I know more about it. But even then I'm sure I'll keep using Drambo, as it's so much fun.
Of course I believe, that you can learn by finding solutions for other people's needs - free puzzles that don't necessarily take commitment, that you still might be able to use in your own stuff later on.
So, here’s a chord generator I made, inspired by the orchid-thread on the one hand and my first keyboard (the Casio PT30) on the other.
Get it here:
https://patchstorage.com/pt30-chords/
I did a little update to PT30 chords+. The Bass notes are no longer affected by the strumming, but hit immediately, no matter if the strum goes up or down. Thanks @SamSamSam for the feedback.
I'll test the new version. Thanks a lot @tyslothrop1
So, here’s another Chord device with fixed midi mapping, which works like a charm for me
Get it here:

@tyslothrop1
Passing through before I head out for a meeting.
I'm really liking the patches your creating.
Nice one.
@gravitas Thanks man
I'll update the last one soon with another Keyboardzone, that can send a bass or lead line on another midi channel. It's fun.
Looking forward to it.
Up to 242 Oscillators, 15 LFOs with 3 Targets each, 16 Bandpass Filters and loads of XY-Pads (not recommended to use all at once). Pretty happy with how this turned out, have fun.

PS: There’s a tiny omission in the video: If you tune by note, reset the main pitch to 130 Hertz, or it won’t be tuned properly.
Interesting! I’ll download it and check it out.
Thanks @tyslothrop1 you rock 🤘
Sounds fantastic. Will definitely try it out later today. Gut gemacht!
@Edward_Alexander @Poppadocrock @catherder Thanks for checking it out, es war mir eine Freude (:
Hey everybody, At the moment I'm working on 3 projects, that are basically in a state, that I would say is ripe for upload, but instead of making videos, I flipflop between the projects. They're all rather complex, so I procrastinate the video part, which is kind of outside of my comfort zone.
Help me decide, what to put out first. I have:
A complex chord generator, with +10 different methods of triggering and sequencing the individual chord notes. Works nicely with a keyboard.
A drum sequencer that can add random, but a lot of the time useful fills, either manually triggered with some control over complexity, or sequenced. You can control which of the eight available boxes can be triggered in a fill, and how likely that is.
A loopslicer with triggers to jump to any slice, that resumes playback at the right spot in the loop, when you let go. It can switch at any time between 4 different loops, either manually, sequenced or randomly (still a bit experimental, maybe stays like that). And lots of hands-on FX on top.
Thanks for the kind words @offbrands and my pleasure:)
I’m interested in 2. Drambo Dum Sequencer with fills. That sounds interesting.
All sound great but number 3 intrigues me most.
+1 for numba three , sounds wild!
@catherder @Robin2 @Squishy Thanks!
Ok, so far 2 votes for the drum sequencer and 2.5 for the loop slicer. I'll put the one up first, that has the most votes by Sunday Evening (in Europe).
