Yep. This "feels" about right to me.
At those price points I would definitely buy the iOS, and very likely follow up with the AU/VST desktop version if I continue to use it regularly.
The full-featured TestFlight demo is a great way for developers to allow users to properly evaluate whether an app will be worth the purchase price for our own unique workflows and preferences.
Oh, and on what sounds to drive with it? - I have heard it play a simple piano like nobody else and that lets me play with reverb, and timbre, and filters, and lofts and... ... fun!
Cheers,
RS
You’d stick in the first Layer, before your sound maker. I just tried it, and it works fine, though you won’t be able to route the individual play head’s MIDI to individual synths etc., as there’s no internal MIDI routing in GR2.
So what kind of discounts do you get from the bundle? I got nearly 6$ which I normally would consider pretty good, but here it feels a bit like: dust in the wind. Ed is really twisting our (us undecided) mind, isn't he. Still not sure if I can afford it, it's been a crazy spring with all awesome releases, one after the other. It has made a big hole in my economy (luckily I'm alone so no one else gets hurt but me😛)

Not currently, but I do see it’s placeholder on the “roadmap”. (Currently blank when you click on it)

I agree, this would be a very welcome feature for many, though I will tell you that FMB, just like the original, is a “touch first” oriented app. Which is something a lot of apps have drifted away from. FMR leans heavily on the touch screen with its one, two, and three finger gestures and such.
Ok thanks, that’t what I was afraid of. So one way is to “print to MIDI’ in a scene for each playhead and then shared the scenes on different tracks…not very convenient
It depends on how much you paid for the original Fugue Machine ..
bundle price = price of Fugue Machine Rubato - price you paid for original Fugue Machine
it doesnt catch the first beat when loop a part in cubasis.
on the second beat its there again.
is there a empty init preset?
Probably a problem with Cubasis. I've had nothing but frustration when trying to do anything other than the most basic midi routing.
If classic had the AU parameter exposed it would be Rubato> @EnvelopeFollower said:
Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select "New Pattern" in the drop down menu.
thanks
I'm starting to wonder whether not the pricing decision and the decision to launch without making a complete manual was a clever strategy for keeping this thread near the top of page one of this forum for the next year or two 😅👍😂
Might've been, actually. Man, I was high when I wrote the last reply above, but I still believe FMR will serve me rather well now that the "sticker shock" has worn off. Probably the only thing I need from the Appstore the next few months anyways as I have apps that can do everything else already. (Well, unless Cubasis 3 gets some more sound bank IAPs or something, who knows? Steinberg is my jam.)
As usual for me I expect it will come down to needs vs wants.
I expect a few things I'll want will come out that I cannot currently even imagine, and I expect I will want Cherry Audio Yellow Jacket (Wasp) whenever that actually arrives.
Until the next person makes a demo you like that twists your arm into buying something you previously had zero interest in 😅🤣
Lol. 😆 Well, it's @Edward_Alexander 's doing, so he's to blame for me now wishing to purchase FMR.
Oh yeah, I want me the Wasp synth too. That would be rather lovely.
I can’t say that I’m at all interested in the new version of Fugue Machine although I’m sure it is excellent.
What I am very happy about is that I think this is the first time Edward ( @Edward_Alexander ) has posted anything for ages … I hope more is to come Edward 🙏
PS I liked the growly bits … reminds me of the sounds Eider Ducks make 👍
@Pxlhg bundle for me as I already had FM classic, was £52.

Enough of a nudge for me to sacrifice a few beans.
I am loving it, still reading the manual though!
I made a video running Rubato thru some synths in AUM

Loool
Lol! Ffs mate, lol. Lucky thing I'm not a dad and choose to remain single. (Guess I'm "married" to my music, lol.)
Weird stuff happening here.
Sometimes, when I change presets, the new preset is loaded (the notes and the lines and the whizzy whizzy stuff is all new), but the current sound remains exactly the same…hmmm
LOL! My music tracks are my "children", lol.
I don't know how accurate these are but if I change to just 'music' it's number two. Also, this is the Swedish store. Anyway, maybe a new precedent has been set, I hope not.

In my App store (Canada) it's 19 on iPad and 47 on iPhone.
Other recent releases on iPad: Humanoid at 33, Wave Box at 12, Circa Looper at 8, GRFX at 6. Oh! Actually I missed that the FM bundle is at 4.
Surprising: Loopy HD at 38. To be honest, I don't entirely trust the rankings...
I refuse to buy this unless it goes subscription.
