Some things from the holiday.

Just bought it. Looks promissing.
Is that ice?
No, it's chalk, from the white cliffs (the black stuff on the top is seaweed).
I live 20 miles from Dover, these are the cliffs on my local beach:
One thing that's cool about these beaches is the extreme tides. We have the second longest tidal range in world I believe.
When the tide is in it goes up to the foot of the cliffs (you can see the seaweed at the bottom of the cliff in the photo above), and when it's out there is more than 50 meters of beach.
As for the chalk, the whole of south-east England sits on a giant bed of chalk. According to legend that is where the name Albion (meaning England) originates from. Julius Caesar saw the white cliffs and named the land Albion, after the latin word for white: albus. (The story is probably bullshit, but I like the romanticism).
Hard to believe there have been nearly 44,000 views of this thread to date. Hope this means Bram's app has been a huge success for him.
Also love this app.
Not to many choices and settings.
Is that where they filmed Broadchurch?
No that was in Dorset, which is on the south west coast, I'm on the south east coast.
I noticed that it is almost one year since the release of XP4N. Congratulations on your anniversary, Bram!

More desert wanderings this weekend.
And congrats to Bram on one year of my favorite camera app!
Beautiful skies.

In appreciation of the one-year anniversary of XP4N 🎉, here are the unpublished shots from the first version of the app. This mode has been gone for a long time, maybe @brambos could implement it back just for the sake of legacy. 😉
