Not really a sale or anything, but iVCS has been updated and now runs on MacOS.

Not showing up for me. Would be great if it was designed specifically for macOS, because the track record for plugins not specifically designed for Mac compatibility has been spotty for me, at best. The very crashy ones usually get deleted by me pretty quickly.

Have you been able to install it? I can't find it on the Mac store, Mac compatibility isn't listed in the app description, and I get a "This app is available only on the App Store for iPhone and iPad" when doing a general search.

Hopefully this will be fixed, it'll be great to have it on the Mac.

I don't see it either, but it's listed in the update notes so maybe it just hasn't propagated through the servers yet.

I’ve installed the update on the iPad (6.2, build 2) so it’s on the servers, but not being recognised by Apple as Mac compatible. Maybe a glitch on the dev’s side.

Looks like Apple have updated it, installed on my Mac, and working perfectly in Ableton, with lots of MIDI parameters exposed for some serious lfo-ing!

It's now showing up on macOS App Store. This has always been a question, but is it a free download if you own the iPad version? It's the developer's option to make it a separate paid download or not, so I get that. Just wondering before I go ahead and push the button.

Yep. I had the usual heart-stopping moments where I had to click several ‘buy now’ buttons, but it eventually informed me I wouldn’t be charged right at the last, download stage.

To be honest I’d have taken it on the chin even if it had made me pay again, as it’s a ridiculously good app to have on desktop as well.

I too took the leap of faith as well, and can confirm that after three warnings that you will be billed $19.99, it finally said that I would not be charged for the purchase. I was also able to restore all of my IAP from iOS for no additional charges.

After install on macOS, the standalone is crashing quite a bit for me. I guess I won't be using it in any projects until it's more stable.

Just checking - does this need an Apple Silicon Mac? I'm not seeing it in the UK Mac Appstore - I'm on an Intel iMac but I usually see all apps even if they're not compatible so I'm wondering if it's not reached the UK store yet or if there's a compatability problem. I've searched iVCS3 and Apesoft but no joy...

Seems ok on mine - I can load up three or four instances in Live and it's still only on 2% CPU (though I do have a hefty Mac), are you using Logic or Live? Maybe needs a reboot?

iOS AU's can be a bit random on Mac, though ironically the worst offender on my Mac at the moment is a NI Reaktor VST, which completely shuts the laptop down when I try to use it in Live.

I believe that the silicon processor is needed because the iPad processor is a similar architecture, not because Apple put an arbitrary minimum on it.

Purafied audio everything bundle 99% off!

    https://purafied.com/

    with code FUCKUADANDGUITARCENTER

This is a legit sale. There was a glitch sale where Guitar Centre wouldn't (understandably!) honour a glitch and the guy from Purafied said if they won't honour it, I will!

Act quick. It won't last long.

I think the VU compressor is the star of the deal. The compressors and EQ were coded by the same guy that makes Kiive plug-ins, so it’s generally considered to be good stuff.
