June is a beast on its own! The randomization system is second to none!
But J6 is a whole load of fun! And is so versatile and sounds like a dream! So blessed to have both!
@Tones4Christ and @greatestlengths
appreciate your kind words, it really means alot 🙏
THANKS Everyone! MASSIVE FREE UPGRADE, SO MANY IMPROVEMENTS!
AUv3 Engine Overhaul + Updated GarageBand Support:
• 150% more Memory Efficient in all Hosts.
• Two instances of J6 Synth and take up LESS Memory than one instance before. Run Twice as many!
• Totally rebuilt for GarageBand. Sessions feel solid!
• Snapshots recall exactly as saved. Every time.
• Zero memory creep on reloads. In fact, reloading a project now uses less memory than the original load.
** If GarageBand won't show J6 SYNTH ONE, in your device's "Settings" app under GarageBand, choose "Reset GarageBand" **
Other Host Improvements:
• Rock-solid when switching presets while receiving MIDI in Loopy Pro, GB, and others. No more preset switching crashes in Loopy Pro!
• Groove Rider loads faster and handles multiple loads without crashing. Older iPads may still see occasional hiccups, but crashes are dramatically reduced.
SYNTH ONE J6 Specific:
• Fixed issue: Oscillators re-triggering properly on the same note with Sustain On
• LFOs and Tempo Sync'd controls update in realtime while changing host tempo (like in AUM and others)
• Standalone: Fixed crashes when attaching or removing Bluetooth headphones
• Touch Pad now snaps back to the correct values.
• Added ability for Pitchbend to go to -48/+48 to better support Linnstrument
• Chorus I+II trigger properly with included JU-06 controller map
• Too many more updates to mention...
NOTE: More improvements for Loopy Pro coming. If you need to reload a project w/ AudioKit apps, restart Loopy Pro each time to keep things stable.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! More updates to come...

Edit: Would postpone updating if you have mission critical projects. Working on fixes ASAP
Can anyone help with an issue I’m having (J6 inside NS2) - I’m running a synth melody and slowly opening the resonance and unison detune - the sound is fine and it’s doing what it’s supposed to do as far as automation goes EXCEPT I have a small-to-large click each time a note plays - it’s not a CPU spike (although it sounds like one), it’s not the amp envelope, no FXs internal or external that I can see - any ideas?
Thank you for a great new addition to my synth app collection, it has a lot a great sounding presets which I will definitely use in my projects.
Mike🍻
For anyone who has the TC-Data app, select the Sequencer Add and Rate preset, connect it to AudioKit Synth One J6 and use the Space Trip preset, they were just made for each other👌

Is adjusting the A 440hz setting the only way to transpose in J6? Am I missing a more conventional +/- transpose setting somewhere?
Love the synth, just need to drop everything a half step.
Hey @KRPT !
There was a new update on Jan 20th that helped with some clicking/popping for some users. Maybe it helped you too?
Sweet! Do you have an audio demo?!
There isn’t one. But that’s a good feature request. Honestly, I love the transpose feature on my real Juno, so I’m on board with the idea.
Thanks for considering it. Much appreciated! Still learning/using J6 almost daily.
@AnalogMatthew .. just noticing that the save option is no longer available for me when I have J6 loaded in a host — it’s still there in standalone .. and it used to be there in hosts .. Bug?
EDIT: Only happening on iPad Pro 11” M1 .. iPadOS 18.7.3
Save still there on iPhone 12 mini iOS .. 18.7.2
Hi @AnalogMatthew, I read through this topic a couple of days ago and saw your enquiry of a demo, I have done a short demo with the J6 (Space Trip) controlled with the TC-Data, some J8 Sequences and other presets and the iMoog Model 15 lead solo.
Mike
Honored to donate my vintage Juno-106, the same one used to make Synth One J6, to IU Indy’s Music Tech program.
Because of all your support for J6 and purchases of Super J8, I was able to pass this synth on to the next generation of music makers. They’re very excited.
I’ve always loved the Juno-106. It’s one of those instruments with real history & character. Plus, the wood sides I added make it sound better. That's just science 😉
Indianapolis is lucky to have a program like this. The students are wicked smart & seriously talented.
Thanks everyone for your support!
Tell me can I reach Audiokit in here?
I sent 3 mails ^^
@AnalogMatthew does hang around here sometimes
If you may assist me in the meantime, I think I have a pretty cool question/quest
Since the synth doesn't do it, I am looking for a way to “Hard Sync” the LFO so it doesn’t play, unless it is in tempo sync from the host. Like the ARP of moog model 15 will do.
It sounds so cool, but sometimes even if I hit right on time the micro tuning seems off.
So what am I to do..
Sorry, I have no idea
@AnalogMatthew
Hey mate!
Is there any chance to get an update with the option to “Hard sync” the LFO, so it doesn’t play when not on the set tempo (1/8D, 1/16 etc)?
I know it is not part of the originals functionality but it is extremely useful.
Like the ARP functions in Moog model 15 for instance.
I have been trying to time it myself and find myself usually disconcertingly a little off, even if I’d think I am on.
Y’all make the coolest synths! Thanks for the fish!
