    I’ve been really enjoying Groove Rider 2. The arp feature is awesome! I hold down a pad and I can get 4 on the floor with ease. However has anyone figured out how to get the beats to go off beat in the arp settings? For example right now I get perfect 4 on the floor kicks 1 and 3. But what if I want the arp to be at 2 and 4 for the snare. Or let’s say I want my kicks to be always at 1 and my bass to be at 3 when I trigger the corresponding pad?

    Lastly is there a hold function for the pads?

    Sadly no. Kind of crazy since it seems like such an obvious functionality for keys/chords/jump. It's not a good standalone groove box for live performances if you don't use clips or at least some midi controller.

    I can no longer import Gr16 patterns into Grooverider2 (or more accurately export from GR16 into Grooverider 2 which is how it was done before). Anyone else have this problem (or hopefully a workaround?)

    Anyone know how to assign a mute group to the closed and open hat pads in a drum rack? I only see mute groups assignable in the part parameter screen for the entire drum rack part, not for the individual pads like closed and open hihats assigned to a drum rack.

    I was able to answer my own question. See below.

    How to set a choke group on the closed and open hihats in a drum rack assigned to a part in GR2?

    Note: If you have the GR2 user manual you can read more about GR2 choke groups if you go to section 10.1.1 Synthesizer Settings and read about the EXCL GROUP knob.

    1. Look at the buttons at the very top of the screen. Tap the SOUND button.
    2. Look at the pads at the bottom of the screen. Notice the pad mode buttons just above the pads. Tap the pad mode TRIGGER button then tap the pad containing the drum rack. The drum rack part is now selected.
    3. Tap the DRUMS pad mode button. The drum rack will now be layed out onto the pads. Very nice. Now we are getting somewhere. Tap the closed hihat pad to select it.
    4. Look up to top left of screen and tap the EDIT button on the oscillator tab.
    5. Look at the sample window in the middle of the screen. Tap the little GEAR icon at top left of the sample window.
    6. Touch and hold the polyphony button on lower right. Ensure it is set to 1 voice only.
    7. Touch the EXCL GROUP button at lower right. This is the choke group setting for drum rack pads. You can have up to 8 choke groups. Nothing happens when you first touch the button (bug probably) but if you move it you will see the group number assigned to it at the top of the window. Set the choke group number you want to use (ie 1).
    8. Repeat the process for the open hihat pad.
    9. The two hats will now mute each other in performance.

    Portrait mode of this would make me come back to iOS once in awhile. If he would add location based velocity per pad that would be huge. Ideally where I could set the range per pad even.
