  • Regarding sound quality/emulation accuracy, an audio interface vs audio jack is a total game changer.

  • Sounds indeed good, but to my opinion, way too buggy and unstable that leads on such frustration that I wouldn't recommend to buy it.

  • Buggy so that it's been unusable I have not found it personally, and I've had it since the getgo. However, there have been bugs. One of the early ones (fixed) was stuck MIDI notes. The current issue seems to have been introduced in iOS 9 at some point. It's working just fine with iOS 7 (Yes, I still have iOS 7.1.2 on a mini 1). I'd highly recommend buying it at the current price, with the expected and hoped-for fixes per the other thread at some point shortly.

Anyone can tell me if the sustain pedal works with iMini... I feel invisible...

    Who said that?

No - it doesn't (whereas it does in Mini V on the desktop).

I'll add that to the list of things I'll additionally mention. :+1:

also doesn't work in iProphet iirc

I am in discussions with Retronyms. Looks like they are not aware of this problem. They asked me to send a video showing the sustain pedal does not work. Maybe they fix this after these discussions

    Almost....

As soon as you "push" a bit support from Arturia, they claim they can't reproduce, they ask for a video, then, silence, nothing, nada, 0...

Well actually I am not pushing arturia but Retronyms. Once I found a bug in IMPC pro and they corrected it ( it was a problem with the midi learn and the faders)

    Thanks for the hint.

Having already Animoog,Sunrizer,Posion 202, Korg Odyssei,Magellan,Addictive Pro,Gadget synths and Synthmaster, any reason to go for this one?

If you do get it, be prepared for erratic behaviour when used as an IAA.

but you can ask for support at Arturia :D

Yes, this is true, you can ask.......and then....... :D

... and then .... two years after asking ... the update to fix the problems is released ... but ... now what?
