Love Soundscaper
Hmmm...I've been thinking about AM for a while.
Egoist is great. Weird, but great.
not owning the aufx apps (yet!), I'm going to agree with this already. Will be buying the aufx apps later.
So many great apps. All of them worth their price imo (and more in a lot of cases). The problem is picking the ones for our uses. Most of us can't afford all of them even on sale, unfortunately.
@skiphunt -- I'm looking forward to doing more with soundscaper than I have with fieldscaper...which is a great app but I haven't quite got into the mangling stuff. This may help change that.
Fieldscaper was my entry-drug to mangling. Still love it too. I held off Soundscaper a long time because I thought it was more of the same. It's not. In a lot of ways I like it more. Once you've got something working in the main "lab/stage" part and save as a "scene"... make more scenes... then go to the "morphing" section where you have lots a very interesting ways to morph from scene to scene automatically or manually. When you hover inbetween scenes during a morph... that's where the really amazing magic happens.
For sure. It was just a first impression. I'm happy to have bought this at a discount.
The help system is excellent. I won't use half the stuff in ROTOR (synth, etc) but the looping stuff is great for the price. Run sync'd loops into the beat repeater and the poly sequencer. Boom.
how does the synth part of moebius lab sound? Is it very limited?
Is this app too complicated? Doesn't get a lot of conversation for all that it does.

AudioMastering looks like it might be a good alternative to Final,Touch. Nothing wrong with that, it's just nice to get a different feel.
As for Egoist, I did post it's sale price in this very thread.
That's a great price. I like it enough that I think it's worth the $10 launch price I paid. Their stated retail of $20 might be a stretch, but for $7, it's a sweet bargain with LOTS of pure fun to be had. I found myself not even saving anything... just playing with it for the joy of play alone.
Thanks for the info on issues. I'm still sitting on the fence and the rush of potential acquisition is slowly waning and I'm coming to my senses. I've got more than enough on my palette and am thankful for that. Trying everything I can to avoid buying another app right now, it's tough because every week it seems there's something tempting pulling me away from focusing on what i have........must exercise discipline work with what i have
Just bought dub session for blockswave, sounds great!
About App sales and stable price. What I notice is that especially active devs participate in sales. Devs that don't do updates of their apps (anymore) and leave their apps as abandonware don't do sales. I would say this is a trend. But of course there are some devs that are active and keep their prices the same, but this is more an exception.
App sales have me buying iTunes vouchers from supermarkets so on the bank statements it looks as though I've been shopping for groceries.
Wife is non the wiser
Much appreciated, got fieldscaper for an absolute steal.
Since Apple prides itself on the eco friendly materials that go into making their devices I'm sure it's safe to eat anytime...just make sure you run heavy cpu apps prior to consumption
Hot meals are always preferable
You are exactly the kind of devious rotter this non-existent club requires.
I am buying this now because of your endorsement and whatever happens I will hold you entirely and personally responsible unless it's triffic and I make good noise with it and so forth and therefore also take all credit without even the noddingness nod in your direction etc.
Its true, Welcome to The anonymous Appaholics!
Have you got Audulus and Effectrix JG? Thinking of grabbing those tomorrow, sales permitting and wondered what you thought of them.
Hahahahahaha -- Soundscaper is nuts (which I knew, but still...). Spent 20 minutes mucking around and I have no idea what I just did, but it sounds crazy cool. I'm going to RTFM as I go along. I have no idea where I will go with this, but the ride will be a lot of fun.
On Friday and Saturday, Phasemaker will be 50% off.
Just thought I'd join in on the fun.

Yeah, me too.
Yep, me too. Three minutes behind closed doors when I'm supposed to be roasting a turkey only served to fry my brain. it's like reading an alien language. My prediction: no music will get made for the next three weeks by anyone on this forum.
Thanks. That will get me off the fence so I can finally deal with my FM "issues".
Thx, Great news! Good to see Phasemaker joining the party
kickass!
Watch his videos from his blog... the more recent ones were very helpful... let me see if I can find a link....
Turnado effectrix and wow filterbox at 9,99. For the two first i think they were at 17.99 and the latter at14.99. I believe mainly people spoke about Turnado as best app out of these. Can anyone confirm?
I just changed my mind. ROTOR is useless and inscrutable. ;-)
Use the help system and watch the tutorial video.
Drag any of the blocks onto the table and connect them if you like. Double tap on the block to open the settings for it. Be sure to enable auto detection in top toolbar and set a loop as a master in its control panel if you want all the other loops to slave to the master's key. It's a blast to put a vocal loop in and hear the unpredictable results of the auto detection (sometimes pitches up, sometimes down).
You can "open in" from AudioShare and a loop or sample will show up in the Imported folder for selection in the loop or sample player. Be sure to look for the imported folder in the list.
