    … Probably we'll also see a 24 hours discount of Korg Odyssei. pricetag probably 14.99

    Hasn't happened, though.

    Oh well, by way of compensation, here's Brian Eno and Snatch - RAF

  • I'm praying for the fabfilter IPAs in auria pro to go on sale, but it's not going to happen, is it?

  • I'm short of cash, so probably I'll buy Navichord, DM2, AudioMastering and DrumSessions...whenever it happens.

    But thanks to the devs. The best sale week I can remember so far.

    Hoping for the same.

    I did a little research, and they seem to go on sale on x-mas time. On the fabfilter forum they say they may do a 25% off on the whole bundle, but I think that is for desktop, besides I don't really want the whole bundle, only a couple of selected plugins. So I'm not setting my hopes high for this weekend (probably for the better, as I've already spend a few tenths of € so far...)

  • Just in case it wasnt mentioned. This was my big hope for the sales. Very happy
    Audulus is so beautiful. And the price is half off.

  • I'm still undecided as what to get this Friday :)

    Being a Carl Cox fan I'm having hard time to resist the pack in AudioCopy Store.
    Also RF-1 and RP-1 are getting harder to resist especially now that they are on sale and the ApeStuff.
    (And that's what I've gotten so far).

    O yes you should get the R series and the Ape stuff. One thing I found with the Ape stuff is that the dev really listens to your ideas.

    What's Carl cox got to do with it? Curious.
    Edit: oh ok audiocopy. Sorry got confused with audioshare for a sec. Must be a sound pack then.

  • I looked around a lot watched lots of demos, mostly from the much missed SoundTestRoom, and ended up buying;

    AniMoog (plus 3 IAP's)
    Egoist
    Audio Mastering
    Phasemaker
    Rotor
    X 1 Blocs Wave pack
    X 2 Launchpad packs

    FWIW, I looked hard at Audulus 3 and Moog Model 15, and while the price is great and both look to be superb apps, the modular thing hurts my brain.

    Got to agree with Aud and Model 15. I have tried to crack them in my head, but seems I just can't get out of them that which I know they will do. Audulus 3 is a superb piece of software, but much of it is well beyond my dabblings. Model 15 - love the sound, but i find its secrets of in depth programming to be further from my comfort point than synths such as PPG or PhaseMaker even. I'm decent at programming many other synths, just something has not clicked with me with Model 15. I've no doubt it's one great synth though in the right hands.

    For the first time you can get SampleTank PRO for $19.99 (50% off)

    Sorry, but it's not the first time.

    @Reid said:
    You can get all the main Sound Packs (Miroslav 1, Sonik Synth, Sample Moog, and The Grid) for a total of $19.95
    The first 3 normally sell for $19.99 each, and the Grid is $9.99
    The recently released Miroslav 2 is still $49.99

    Very tempting...

    Okay, I stand corrected about SampleTank PRO. But I receive a notification about IK sales and each time I check to see about Sampletank IAP. And I never saw SampleTank Pro at 50% before. I guess I missed it.

    Sales on IK apps are constant, but 50% only happens a few times a year. They use every formula imaginable. 25% off. 40% off. 50% off. Sometimes they will just give away a $20 app like SampleTank for a few days. Generally the apps go on sale but the IAP don't. And when the IAP go on sale it's for various percentages off. I got Miroslav 1 and Sonik at half off, and paid a little more for Sample Moog (tired of waiting for 50%), but after I did that they came out with this crazy deal for $19.99 for all the basic stuff. The Grid came free when I bought my iRig.

    I think it's likely that the new Miroslav 2 and the new percussion IAPs will go on sale at some point. As they have added a LOT of IAP options in recent months, I expect to see some kind of package deal to emerge eventually including the PRO upgrade and all the premium stuff because that's how they do it on the computer.

    Yes. Not really _needing _another synth, I bought Phasemaker 'cause one of the demos showed a couple of sounds that instantly gave me an idea. Also, it's AU and from an independent developer.

    Model 15 and Audulus 3 are clearly great apps, for those whose muse takes them in a modular direction. They're wasted on me.

    It's bewildering strategy. I actually deleted Sample Tank Pro, and several IAP packs that I'd bought, because I just wasn't using it as much as I'd thought, and it takes up a load of space on the iPad.

    The more I read about ROTOR the more enthousiast I get. Online there are not many videos about it. Just one question is the app easy to get into. I get the impression that it has a steep learning curve.

    Can't say I've tried Rotor as yet. I was initially put off by lack of non iTunes import, but I think that's been rectified now. I'm just not sure about it yet. Though I don't think by the videos that it really looks overly complex, I could be wrong.

  • Model 15 is dau ting but keep in mind that it has presets that sound great and more are available. You don't HAVE to tweak from init to have great moog sounds. Syncs super tight with aum.

    Well, I've only had it a short time, and done very little so far. My first impressions are that it has LOTS of potential. On the negative side, the interface is not up to Retina quality, nor is it as intuitive as the devs seem to think. But to be fair, I really need to RTFM to get more out of the app. As for the learning curve, it doesn't look particularly steep, it just needs concentration. Once I've got to grips with it, I feel reasonably sure that I'll enjoy it as much as I want to.

  • Forgot to add another early purchase to my list;

    Dot Melody

    This is the surprise of the past few days. What I mean is, I was expecting the likes of AniMoog and Egotist to be top quality, but this little fella is a revelation. For those who aren't trained to play keyboards or a guitar, the method employed for making melodies is really intuitive, and a whole lot of fun.

    does Dot Melody have sample import for drums?

    No, it's a Midi app. There are three sections, Lead, Bass and Drums. You can use the in-built sounds, or Midi out to any three apps capable of receiving.

  • Great. But why would anyone buy Module for iPhone now that Module.(for iPad) is universal?

  • Just watched Pantsofdeath and Dougs' videos on Phasemaker and the sounds and layout I find truly inspiring. Just need to get an itunes card
    Just knew I'd get at least one app

  • Looks like I'm going to buckle and buy iM1... I have been waiting for this app for weeks now.
