Yep. What he said.
Korg "Sorry there was a typo on the website. It should read: Available for download purchase from February 28th, 2018"
Sorry I'm just getting wind of this.
What can we expect from 3.0?
More important: will it be a free update?
Where have you been? People have been frantically running around throwing spare coins on their screens screaming "Audio, audio, audio!!!".
According to current estimates/rumours, there will be audio in Gadget iOS (this I think we can call a fact) and we are expecting another 3 free gadgets (this is a guess) for handling said audio. That's it, in a nutshell. Then people are also hoping for other improvements/bug fixes or functionality additions, in varying degree.
EDIT. Oh, and it'll be released on OSX too.
Thanks @hellquist
Life's had me busy so thanks for the info
In the meantime, then:
Apparently Korg still hasn't corrected their website to reflect the date you've quoted.

2018, bit of a wait then
Same here, and I want a switch even more now.
This is so very true....it is amazing how priorities can change due to life events.
I would be more happy with simple midi output then with audio tracks. Both would be ace so i could sequence/record external gear.
Actually I was lookimg at this page on top: http://www.korg.com/us/products/software/korg_gadget/for_mac.php
Well it's not impossible! We asked for insert effects and MIDI in per track and we got both. So, fingers crossed! I'm hopeful that Gadget iOS is gonna get some serious love if they're pushing it as a proper DAW now.
Hmmm....I wonder if "older devices" like iPad mini retina 2 will be supported or neglected like the alchemy GB update...
Any news on what devices WILL be compatibile?
Meant to say iPad mini second gen running iOS 10
That's true and i believe Midi out will come at some point.I just hope it won't take too long.
Oh my god I just watched the new zelda trailers. I thought I was done with video games...anyone wanna buy a minilogue?
When I looked at the Korg site link a few minutes ago it had the end of this month as the release date rather than next year.

I think it was, you know, a little, er....
....tongue in cheek....
Given the nature of Gadget addiction it's important to reassure them they will not be waiting another year. Perhaps users of other apps may not require this level of clarification.
Yep.
I will dig it.
Until Novation completes their development orbit with a full functioning "Ableton" ish IOS DAW.
My opinion of course.
What! LOL
Made my day because we are such impulsive losers
If the Switch is the new Wii (and the excitement in video game circles has been extremely high) then you'll probably have time to save up for one while they keep selling out.
Come on, It was just a joke because everybody is so looking forward to gadget on mac (me included). I guess it didn't work.
Tuesday it is then!
Otherwise it's the wrath of Fletcher
Ha ha. I won't be that polite.
Are we sure it won't be released on February 29. It might be a leap year!
I'm sure many Gadgeteers found your post to be very humorous, I just wanted to reassure any anxious users that they wouldn't be in limbo for another year. In their potentially vulnerable emotional state they might not have recognized your intentions and become needlessly stressed out. While many may reasonably believe my concern was in response to a non-existent problem, it seemed to me that for every confident Audiobus Forum poster there might be ten lurkers and one of these might have been adversely effected. Perhaps the lack of any emoji to highlight the humorous context of your original post and previous responses are what led to me deciding to respond with my latest understanding as to what was happening with the release. In addition, I don't monitor Korg websites 24/7 so I could only confirm what I found there when I checked.
