I loved his chorus app so looking forward to this, some sort of Limiter maybe.
I’ll buy since I feel like I ripped him off for the chorus.
Wait isnt today the 19th
"Dec 17" probably means December 2017, as in "sometime in December"... maybe?
That's two of us
Thx all for your support!
App is waiting Apple approval, cross fingers
!!!!
+1
neat!
And it sound great!!! Meaning, that I can't hear ANY colorization on my tracks if I don't want to--that's a great thing!!!
I also bought the Chorus app, believing I didn't really need it, but succumbed to all the forum accolades about it and wasn't disappointed. Often dropping it on just about everything.
What exactly is this new one supposed to be for?
Here you have a short preview of MAXIMA, I've also updated the website

That sounds pretty good in the demo. I am convinced.
Sounds like quality Mister Fred.
Release the Kraken... great rum.
it's an essential dynamic process (existing for quite a while) which made me give up compression for leveling almost entirely - comp now is only engaged if pumping is the target.
In sequence of quality on desktop: Anwida L1V, SawStudio Levelizer, FabFilter Pro-L.
(no idea if the IOS implementation is superior to the PC version - someone measured the distortion figures on desktop with a system pushed really hard)
Important: this process only works when there are peaks in the signal - on a sausage-like waveform it does nothing.
Consider it for a healthy (track) level in the 1st place and for that bit of extra punch on the final output - not for loudness war related stuff.
It makes mixing a lot easier and results more pronounced while avoiding ear fatigue.
(I'm probably out of the game as Fred's apps require IOS > 9)

Right said Fred, another winner!
Bah! I keep feverishly opening the Appstore app, searching “FAC Chorus”, and clicking on Fred’s name to see if Apple woke up and finally put it up for sale. This sounds far better than Waves L1, possibly almost as good as Pro-L if not as good as, so here’s another instabuy for me.
@FredAntonCorvest this sounds amazing! Is there a way to toggle a volume-matched preview so you can better hear the effect without the change in volume?

Damn this is money spendin day
Awesome job!!!
Congratulations Fred!! Another awesome and extremely useful release!! You, Sir, are on a roll!! And we aren't worthy!
@FredAntonCorvest Bought. Happily. Now get back to work
What he said.
the essential 'effect' is a higher perceived loudness without increasing the peak volume.
(Fred may have added some additional stuff, though)
The best result is achieved if the level (on which processing starts) sits slightly above the level of the dense part of the waveform (the 'black' from which peaks stand out).
The higher that threshold, the lower the loudness gain will be.
In reverse: the deeper the threshold is moved into the dense part, the more distortion will work against further loudness gain.
(in the beginning you may check the meters on the waveform display vertically zoomed, but after some time you know the proper values by intuition)
The method itself is fairly simple, but it's implementation is really demanding and requires a smart programmer for good results.
Opposed to compressors the loudness gain can be achieved with almost no distortion.
It's my favourite dynamic process - so used to it, that I can't live without...
