I don't often listen to hiphop since early 90s. But I see enough people posting interesting stuff on software/hardware forums now and again to know it's alive and well
And this stuff I hear is just from average dudes in bedrooms. So I take it for granted that even better stuff is going down elsewhere and inspiring them
maybe someone else can drop some links to blow your mind
I have been seeking and all I find is glitch hop type stuff lol
You are free to disagree but the original method of hip hop was in the usage of breaks, that of course has been taken to the next level by other genres.
Overall, hip hop has not evolved since the late 90s and mcs are far less skilled than back in the day
It was very tempting not to read this thread. I failed. Nothing new. Let's cry together on "Why there is no NS2 yet"
“Hip hop music is very abc and doesn’t require much attention to detail and is far from a complex art form”
Sorry but what a load of bollocks, this simply speaks to your prejudices about the music.
This statement alone shows how little you obviously know about the current state of that particular art form.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Haha. What this thread has become...
Still liking the „Bite me“ Bass from Blip SoundCloud teaser. Sounds kinda neurofunk-ish for me. That kind of bass is not often to find on iOS. Maybe I don’t know how to use the knobs on my synth but then you can lead me to some tutorials? Would love to craft (neuro)bass sound like this on my pad.
BM3 is amazing. Took me some time to get to it but the modulation automation is insane on this machine!
@david_2017
I hear more basses in that track, not just one .. sounds like at least 2 different patches layered together .. i bet those will be as factory patches n NS2, so you just need a wait for a while :-)
Have you heard the top tracks produced with nothing but Auxy? Well ....they sound fucking amazing. There should be a playlist on SoundCloud I think
BM3, Hiphop, Islam... the scope keeps growing. You have a knack for this @Love3quency... Uncanny really.
Yeah, that stuff is cool
I have nothing against Islam dude
My point is that fans of BM3 or hip hop get as offended as Muslims do about any slight bit of less reverence toward their thing lol
Context, you guys speed read all the time
In before lock lol.
Also, predicting summer release.
You’re a real nutter with a victim complex. Imaginary beefs between NS2 and bm3, iphone vs iPad. Dnb vs hip hop. Now somehow religion got brought into this. Take some time offline and work on tunes.
Isn’t there a “BAN” emoticon?
Also remember:
Don’t feed the troll.
If this is what Nanostudio does to my brain I definitely won't be buying it
Jeeezus what a maniac
Hate3quency lol
No victim complex but ur calling names lol
Here we go.. the troll bs again
And.. you joined in....
Double standards lol
So easy to take things out of context on this forum and jump on a person ain’t it?
Call me what you like, I stand by my points and stay put
Deal with it... either ignore if you don’t like what I say, or try to engage in discussions without taking my words out of context
You call me names, do I ever return the favour? No, I remain polite
Now... think
No one could possibly be as un-self-aware as you are. I suspect that you are some high-level performance artist, a modern-day Andy Kaufman.
lol
Holy crap (literally) this guy is beyond belief, goes after developers, goes after every app that isnt universal, now he is going after islam and Hip Hop hahaha, what a shining beacon of humanity !!!
Seems a bit of contradictory statement there, a bit like the classic...”I’m not racist but...”
At least there was a button to dislike a post, introduced by Michael, but apparently some people were not happy with it, and it was removed, so you can only love posts here
We’re getting deeply off topic here, but I’m seeing lots of flags and want to jump in with my 2c:
Yep, @Love3quency’s invocation of Islam was a clumsy mistake. A bit more care, please l3f! Before that, though, it all looked innocent enough to me.
I think @tja has the right idea. Assume goodwill, and goodwill Ye shall find. Seems to me the point where this thread really went off the rails was where people started jumping all over l3f, which seems to be happening a lot.
My advice, in general: always try to step up and be the adult in the room, whoever you are. If you do that, it’s much less likely things will get out of control.
Wow, does he sponsor the site ?
Surprising.
