Sure, but most other Gadget also support an iOS style popup menu. Glasgow does not. Pretty hard to read, especially on the phone. Not sure why it’s different. Probably just laziness.
Everything menu related needs some overhaul... samples, presets and projects. Monopoly standalone has a good menu/preset system. It's not like they have to reinvent the wheel. I'm inclined to agree that it's laziness and disorganisation holding them back from dealing with the quirks.
Apparently these packs belonged to the Kronos expansion. Looking at the Kronos shop we could be in for more IAPS.

it‘s different because when it came out, Glasgow only had a few sounds so a pop up wasn‘t necessary. but now it‘s hundreds sounds, so yes, it’s laziness to not adjust the navigation
I've not gotten any of these new IAPs yet but I may once I hear a bit more than the not so impressive demo songs.
Gadget is still missing proper on-screen keyboard with velocity for adding more expression to the sounds when using it without a controller and since Gadget is currently the only host where multiple instances of the instruments can be used it feels a bit meh.
This time I'll wait for some proper demos before I part with cash...

I really wish they would just add split and layer functions to Module. It would make this app far more useful for me and just seems to make sense for this type of an app. Come on, it's a sound module!
While the Mac of Gadget includes Module, you can’t get any of the Module IAPs.
You get all the iOS Gadget IAPs as part of the Mac version (which is super sweet), and you get Module, but unfortunately NOT the Module IAPs. It’s the one hole in the Mac version of Gadget, it seems.
I wish Korg would consider changing this.
Absolutely agree. I'd presumed the Gadget IAPs would be there when I bought Gadget for Mac. It's disappointing.

My mistake - that's what I meant to say, in fact.
I bought the orchestral sounds as I felt Gadget was in need of some orchestral love (although I'm quite happy with the Trinity sounds from the 90s, although nostalgia is probably clouding my judgement a bit:). Inside Module you have velocity on the keys and, many of the sounds in the orchestral pack are layered. Around the higher midi velocity on many presets, you might get a staccato kinda thing with horns/strings/cymbals/perc/etc, or horns starts blending in. And so on. People relying on Gadgets on-screen keys will completely miss all these sounds and articulations (unless drawing the velocity, but how fun is that...) . In the earlier days of Gadget I got a small chat with someone from the iApps hood at Korg, talking about velocity on the keys, but nothing ever happened. I gave them a shout about it on Twitter earlier today.
Yes, I do have midi keyboards but, I'm also a firm believer of using touch screens as a perfectly viable alternative (in many situations).
My feelings exactly regarding Gadget keys vs external keyboard. These sounds really come to life when played with velocity and expression. So far got Orchestral and Dreamy Synths both have some excellent sounds and pads. Of course I will end up picking up the last one EP 88 - shame to leave it in the box !
Thanks! A better/bigger on-screen keyboard with y-axis velocity and chaos pads is something is something that has been requested over at the Korg forums from time to time for the past couple of years now without anything happening
Part of the work is already done with the keyboards in iM1, iWavestation, iPolysix, iMono/Poly, iMS20, Odyssei.
Only thing missing in them us the y-axis for controlling velocity...
I have external controllers too but it's not always practical to use external controllers...
(Is Korg afraid that people will no longer buy controllers for use with Gadget?).
Support for Files.app/DocumentPicker is also something that should drop during this year...
It's still early 2018 and we can never be sure about what Korg is cooking for us

As mentioned many of the 'Gadgets' are already highly velocity sensitive (adjusting envelope depth, filter, velocity crossfading between layers etc) when used with a controller but without a controller to trigger the sounds with various velocities they can sound quite static..
So yeah, a bigger keyboard with on-screen velocity would lift Gadget to another level regarding expression...
Who knows maybe Gadget 4.0 will drop later this year
How do these drums compare to the these drums below in iSymphonic?
Apart from the Epic Drums patch I don’t recall seeing as many others as you are showing from iSymphonic. Lots of the orchestral patches have drums that kick in when playing with velocity which is cool and very expressive.
(Side note: I’ll be checking your PM in a bit, lol.)
I never got those drums in iSymphonic, as I’m more invested in Beathawk and Gadget. However, they’re perfect for my purposes and then some. I may be making an audio demo of stuff in a bit later. Or perhaps @jakoB_haQ and @thesoundtestroom can whip up some youtube demos.

Dumb question: I purchased the Orchestral pack in Module. Where does it show up in Gadget? As extended presets in an existing gadget (Glasgow perhaps)? My phone screen is too small and eyesight too poor to figure that out (and don't have access to my iPad right now).
