Fair enough!
Now let’s see what this Perforator is all about
Thanks for having Perforator supported on IOS 10 @brambos .
The app is not showing in aum. Classic.
And what is it with tapping hundreds of times to enter values, is this some kind of joke? I don’t mean to be rude or anything but what a poor UI choice.
It should be under effects in AUM. 100% certain of it.
And instead of tapping often you can just hold for fast up/down. Steppers are absolutely the best and most accurate way to set values when ranges are small like this. Not sure where you need to tap things ‘hundreds of times’?
Instead of drawing it in I guess? Not sure if that’s what you want with a gate though?
But you can draw it in? And tap. Both work. I don’t really understand the criticism to be frank. The most taps in the UI are potentially needed in the ‘steps’ field, which ranges from 2-32 (but which is set by default to its halfway value, 16). Which is a range where a stepper is totally acceptable.
Oh, the comment was a classic bit of ‘I don’t want to be rude but...’
How do you draw in the steps though? You have to tap them one at a time rather than just swiping your finger horizontally across all of the steps don’t you?
I'm pretty certain I would buy PetRockmaker if brambos put it out.
I have tried that. That made it easy to draw flowing curves, but really hard to adjust a slice without accidentally changing adjacent slices. The latter is more important so I made it like it is now.
Mine would have sunglasses!
Yep. Makes sense.
Today it has become a really shiny day. Bram was right after all!
Does it work like sidechain?
No. It can produce similar rhythmic gated sounds, but they are programmed instead of derived from a rhythmic input as in sidechaining.
I amused Monzo Jnr this morning, by loading up a couple of audio files of machinery and reversing lorry sounds, and putting them both through the ‘Barfight’ preset. Which turned them into mad music and made him laugh.
In fact I might record a whole album of this stuff, just to stick on when he’s getting crotchety and restless.

Reverse lorry trance gate, it’s the way of the future.
There’s a preset title in that one!
Nice tip.
Thanks!
I don’t see this flip flop view on my end, I just compared Cubasis to GB and both seem to slide the windows into place in similar ways
Perforator and Envolver really works well together and can be very complementary. Nice apps.
