“Here are all the random things you all have asked for in one app.”

No one can convince me this isn’t just the most elaborate April Fools joke ever.

    April? Arrgh!

Not tomorrow?! (sniffles) But then it isn't really Christmas!!!!

For reals, this is the great news of the day. I just need the zombie apocalypse to hold off until after the release date. Then I can hunker in my bunker for the next few years and make beats for the future generations of mutants who never knew what music was.

It won't be as bad as you might think, considering the January 2019 photo is this one:

  • "advanced midi mapping and polyphonic racks" including mpe? 👹

    My Octatrack is (increasingly) concerned.

Hahaha, it really should be. Although I guess there's something to be said for tangible hardware. Still, a much cheaper controller could do the trick...

The tangibility I love about the Octa is mostly the trig buttons and the crossfader. I've been looking at the APC mini and Launch Control XL. If Drambo ends up having fully assignable MIDI functionality with "MIDI follows focus" and MIDI output for changing the pads colors, it could really be a replacement for me. I love Elektron p-locks, and it looks like Drambo's implementation strikes a really good balance between creating and visualizing them.

After NS2 which is now there (but still not for iPhone) for sure THE iOS app i´m waiting for and indeed would call a game changer!
Polyphonic later? Drool.....means we even could create kind of full playable synths with it?
It could actually be my favorite modular thing ever then......
I just think that the Beepstreet DSP is one out of the best there in the software audio world these days.
So much underrated in the big desktop world as well.
I wish he has much success and one day consider all his tools on all platforms. It´s just that could and i have a good feeling for future projects too.
If there would be ONE iOS synth to have for mac it would be Zeeon as well.

  • It’s been decided. This will be my next and first in a while app purchase.

  • Damnit! - DRambo?

Ahhh! That's better, angst gone, calmness restored :)

  • Nice!

Hey - you're right on time with all this explosion of modular. Bitwig, Softtube, etc. software and Teenage Engineering and KORG on the more price sensitive end for hardware.

  • I had the same impression when I saw Bitwig's demo, specifically with the "intelligent" cables that should make for a relatively less painful modular experience.

Playing with p-locks on Digitone, I love this gear! ;)

  • I'm the only one that is waiting for Drambo to make the next steps on the new setup studio or new workflow?
