I don’t even know what dRambo is because I refuse to read this thread haha. I thought it was going to be a sampling drum machine type deal but I was probably way off.

Just waiting for it to drop then I’ll see what it is all about

But I know one thing, that I must have it regardless!

Seems to be GR-16 on steroids, plus Auv3, plus, plus...
    Can’t be too long now..

    😎

At this point, even if Drambo actually writes a top ten hit for you and runs you a bath, it can’t possibly live up to expectations. Still eagerly awaiting it, mind.

it actually has exceeded my expectations.

Question for the testers: what devices are you testing on? Last I asked the man himself, (if I recall correctly, this was way up thread) I thought he said it was running nicely on Air 2...? Which seems amazing as I hear more about it

as one of the lucky beta testers :p , I hate to break it to you... it actually has exceeded my expectations. It will do all that and make you breakfast in bed.
I've barely scratched the surface and it just blows me away every time I sit down with it. It is insanely deep and completely accessible too. Absolutely my favorite modular softsynth. The sequencer is perfect, too.

Damn it, I was succeeding in not getting upset I don’t have it - until you came along 😃.

  • What's the under over at this point? 2019 or 2020?

  • Almost 90 pages 😆

  • The hyperbole quotient is going up, yo. Must be getting close.

Definitely an app to be excited about. 👍👍👍🐥🐥🌈🌈🔥🔥

  • Come on. I’m wasting all my moneys in Christmas gifts😂😂😂
    So bad.

  • So beta testers what’s the cpu load like on Drambo with the iPad you are using ? How many instances as a AU can you run?

From almost 0 to infinity ;) It depends on number of tracks, polyphony and number of modules used in your racks.

  • @giku_beepstreet Any new news? Still in timeline for a December release?

Pro 10.5 and 6s plus both on latest ios. No issues at 128 buffer. By far the biggest CPU to me is always connected with graphics when swiping between apps. Drambo itself feels super efficient.

Anyone testing on models with 12.9” screen?

There's a typo in "Świerszcz" on that screenshot!
...which brought me to a more serious question: will any UTF characters work for naming stuff? It's obviously not something mission-critical, but I had lots of fun using emojis as names for modules in KRFT. ;-)

  • Is the text box a module ? Great idea in modular for noting setups ideas.

  • Świerszcz

@Billflinton Świerszcz can be 🦗 or 🐿🐿 if you like👍 Emojis can be used

Definitely the former! It took a cricket to get Drambo over the edge. ;)

  • What a grumbo? Grundy?
