Don’t think those modules are on the release calendar yet.
Nah, common. He is simply excited so he shares his emotions. Some people get easy excited and then they feel need to spread their ethusiasm (like me related to NS2).
There is no other reason behind it, there is no bad intention, no conspiracy... some us are simply like that, easy to get excited... I'm same in real life, my wife is always laughing how easy i get super excited about something ...
Shout out to @bcrichards for the excellent and useful examples. Awesome stuff.
You’ll need a dongle for the fleshlight
The whole goal is to turn my hardware into software. Embarrassing.
+1
@Max23 i think for $15 it would be worth it just for the sequencer (for me), none of the audio DSP functionality. With all of the plocking and variation possible, it’s very useful. And I initially planned on using it just to make simple instruments, and still enjoy doing that.
This is not modular ala boutique eurorack or Audiobus style, you can’t do evvvverything. No feedback loops. But I think it has struck the perfect balance between ease of use and flexibility. You can build a nice sounding traditional subtractive synth or sample kit, or you can go nuts. It’s good for both.
Here are some videos of tracks made with a much earlier beta version. Very simple stuff sound design-wise but all attempts to “play the song”. Hope it’s useful somehow since we’re only a couple weeks away!

is there a song mode available? pattern chaining ?
I think you are very patronizing and not doing this app launch any favours!
As for the app itself. I will be first in line when it gets released and I wish the developer every success with it.
you just take loop off and the patterns will go in order.
Great!> @DCJ said:
yes. song mode is turning off pattern loop. you can create pattern chains. patterns can have different lengths.
True.
A bit like humans thinking that alien species are going to look like them...Warts and all burping and farting machines.
And you, have you ever used a big modular system?
. I haven’t...
Regarding some posts.. Drambo (a pink unicorn
is not better than euroracks, Octatrack, OpZ etc. Its just my personal ballance between complexity and usability (fun) with its pros and cons. Btw. I owe opz and I love it. It changes the way you make music, everything you do is like playing a live instrument.
Well if it will be out - @giku_beepstreet will You create separate thread to all discouraged by waiting, and not wanting to check this great conversation? Please, Poproszę, спросить
I wouldn't expect that. miRack is insane if you want to build something sophisticated, exciting, unique, astronomical or completely whack. Almost no limits of what you can do.
Given that you have enough time and dedication to invest.
And that's the point for me: Sometimes I just want to make some music. A bit of experimentation and redesign of the instrument is good to have and if it's easy and quick to use then that's an invitation to get my hands on it, and that's the main difference between a full-blown, super-flexible modular synth and a modular groovebox like Drambo: Fast and easy to use but flexible enough to do some more advanced routings to realize the sound ideas that are already playing in my head.
Groove Rider is another good example with its easy-to-use but rather flexible concept.
And it has been a great success so far.
No worries, there will be at least half a dozen new threads within minutes of its release.
We can get to 200 pages if we all start asking commenters to avoid being negative about a product that hasn't shipped yet. That's good for another 100 pages in about 2 weeks.
FEITCTJ = Feet-Cutch.
The rage it will incite will only keep the thread at #1 for another month and that will make people negative and we can just tell them they don't have to read it and they will pretend not to until someone writes something glowing and they will have to take a dump on our joy and we'll ask for changes to the Forum if someone is negative and they will...
You get the idea. A Viral cesspool of Glass Half Full vs "Fish Shit in Water". My money's on 1/2 Full. Any takers. I need to raise some money to buy more iTune Gift cards (just kidding. I use emailed Gift Cards to hide my tracks.)
I use the frequent buyer miles from Amazon.
This thread is about this thread is about...
Sometimes it's about the meaning of life. Which involves waiting for the "Next Big Thing".
Which then turns out to be just another cool thing. So we look for the "Next Big Thing".
Stroke or heart attack are more likely for me than getting to play with this new toy.
But I have to wait for something while the world goes to hell. That's not political. That's
science.
Google: We have been alone for so long, we started talking to ourselves.
Not unlike many a sex life.
"You could go blind reading that thread."
McD is apparently really excited for Drambo.
