  • just take our money we are ready 😎😃

  • I don’t like it because I feel like it doesn’t maximize the profit for the developer at launch. If the only price is regular price then that’s what you buy it at. If the reviews immediately come out that’s its good, then people will buy it and the developer still gets maximum profit. If it’s discounted for a week and reviews are great after 3days, now all these people are picking it up and the developer doesn’t get maximum profit even though he has a hit on his hands.

I don’t see that as fair to the dev.

  • Launch sales makes economic sense to me, BeepStreet knows what he's doing. People on the fence are more likely to dive in if there's a launch sale, more likely to maximise profit by numbers along with the new app buzz.

Plus there's bound to be bugs as the beta group is very small so people make allowances for that if they're getting an initial discount etc

  • What features are people most excited about?

    Is it the sampling?
    Is it the modularity?
Is it the thrill of the wait itself?
Is it the virtual composer that writes songs for you?
Is it the Deadmau5 button that makes your song super good quality but also kinda pretentious and douchey?

This is the cardinal synth sin of EDM. Right here.

Oh I just assumed making it.

  • What kind of electronic musician would be on the fence for this app knowing what this thing can do?
I would personnaly trespass pretty much any fence holding me from getting this app, from what I have seen so far, so probably even bigger obstacle, like let say paying full price.

    Made me laugh.

  • Price it low and market the hell out of it all around the globe. You never know, it might just take off...

  • Just leave the pricing up to the developer.

    Cough
Wait wasn’t that the man who can’t play chords? ^^
I also happen to like sample and hold. ^^
I can’t believe ppl pay money for that masterclass junk :o :D

Joel is extremely talented guy and he made a HELL lot of great music. And his masterclass was really good, it helped me to unstuck with my production and move forward to new territories. I really enjoyed his masterclass and sometimes i return to it to watch some episodes again. It is not that much about technical details (which i already know, so don't need to hear them again), but more about general overview, the way of thinking about production. As i said, it helped me a lot.

  • I don’t want to be adding fuel to the whole pricing argument but from economic perspective it does not make sense to devalue the produci from the outset. The only reason I see for this is when the maker’s income has dried up while building and they need a quick injection of cash to buy their breakfast.

Other than that I see no equivalent on the physical market other then Kickstarter type campaigns.

Having said that, digital/non physical goods market seems to follow its own rules.

but... but.. what about the gossiping? .. we need to focus on something that keeps us from composing, performing, playing and practicing. mind is roaming around.. need to stay away from musicapps and instruments.
quick.. someone pls post an idea or a video.
    neeed gossip

    Well said.

  • i just got paid, can we get this today please 🤪🤪🤪🤪

  • It depends on many factors... One of the funniest: if it was Android I would have to set it freemium :].

    At least, $30-$50 at release!!!

No. I know I wouldn’t buy it and quite a majority of people also wouldn‘t. Except those who post here.
20-25 seems fine. Maybe 40 after a certain amount of time. But please, go for volume rather than profit per sell.

A rare opinion. But i would go with that. I don’t make a living with music so it’s more like recreation and that’s on a budget. So I always think why is no one aiming for volume before profit

I think with the 17,99€ I would give it a spin. Otherwise I had to wait.

There is a graphic shaper module, where you can draw a curve and waveshape anything.

Fantastic! Finally a groovy alternative to Audulus. Thank you for this.

I have tried hard to get into Audulus, but it's just too damn scientific.

Idem. Drambo is as simple and/or as complicated as you want it to be. Ok, it ain't Figure but you can easily make a track with presets and never need to be bothered with all the modular malarky, albeit that is the part why some of us would have purchased the app in the first place. ;)
