Does the music you log need it to be made. Do you have other delays you like. Will you use it to its full potential or just the basic features which would be covered by other delays. I just updated the desktop version. It's great, but I'll still probably reach for simpler delay options most of the time.

Curses, no discount on the bundle.

I'm seeing the Fabfilters bundle as $119.99. Is that the normal price?

That is the normal price. It is however still $58 cheaper then if you bought each app at it’s current sale price, so still a deal.

Does the bundle ever go on sale? I’m not sure how to see that with something like AppSliced.

I don’t think appsliced shows bundles. I could be wrong, but never stumbled across it before. With a free account You can set price drop alerts for apps, and IAPs. I would set a price drop alert on each Fab filter plugin, and if they go on sale check the bundle price. It’s usually $119.99. Fab Filter has discounted the bundle a few times before, just not as often as the apps, and not everytime the apps go on sale. Just speculating but The longest you would probably have to wait for a FF bundle sale is probably around Black Friday-Cyber Monday.

Also check here. If I see a bundle discounted I will post it.

@White also started an app bundle thread to keep track of app bundles available, which could possibly have some information when the bundle drops.

  • Bought it...I'm weak... ;)

I was gonna say bundles are usually on a delay, Apple takes longer to approve and process them cool.

Start Here by Tin Rocket is Free usually $1.99 - great for creating video clips

This might be the best deal in Music Plugins history. Pro Q3 alone is over 150 bucks on desktop. If you dont have it and want one of the best Effect suites just get it.

Fabfilter also is really responsive for their IOS Apps. I Once had an issue and they solved it on the same day for me. Really nice support.

  • @mjcouche
I have the Berlin Strings / First Chairs and Woodwinds and I’m happy with all of them. The Strings is the must buy from that set for me and is probably the best starting point for anyone who may have just bought it, especially as it is on sale.

I don’t have anything from Spitfire but now there is a sale then I’m tempted by the Woodwinds to complete my flute choir.

I have the CineBrass/Perc/Winds and again I am happy with these. I also have the Voxos but have not used it much - it is waiting for me to start my Symphonic Metal album where it will find its place :)

The Tina Guo sounds good for solo Cello and I also have the Guitars which I was initially disappointed with but it has grown on me.

I like the idea of the Scoring Synths but at 48.99 even on sale that is too much to justify for me, especially when I paid pretty much that for the whole of SynthMaster + IAPs.

I will probably end up buying the CinePiano, even though I have all the good iOS pianos. The CineSamples Solo Strings apparently has a decent solo violin so that may also be on the list and I’m tempted to give one of the ambient packs a go as they are more reasonably priced than the Scoring Synths.

The PC version is also on sale in the UK at 49.99 and I had been saving up my Microsoft Rewards points to “buy” it so was pleased to be able to do this today. Presumably the IAPs are also on sale on the PC version. No idea if it will work with my laptop/stylus/tablet combo until I install it later on.

    OT - 3D

    Grib3D - Turns 2d drawings/pics into 3D - free usually $4.99

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/grib3d/id1238150431

Please note! Grib3D requires ARkit from Apple or ARCore from Google. Both technologies are constantly improving, which in turn positively affects the quality and accuracy of Grib3D.

They are. I mean, if we are honest almost every music app is pretty reasonable (and by reasonable I mean cheap) on ios.

OTOH, even if they don't go into individual promo pricing, it would still make sense to offer a bit of discount to those who buy multiple apps at once. Their call though. :)
