    In stand-alone mode you can assign the synths and the drums to separate midi channel outs.
    When using it with a DAWonly the sequencer side of Aphelian is available.
    As a sequencer though it’s very useful if you enjoy using it in stand-alone mode.

    I loved playing with Aphelian for the days I first had it, but all the tracks I made sounded like somebody else. I'll reinvestigate, thanks for the inspiration!

    Glad to see Aphelian getting some more attention. As an audio unit in AUM it’s my favorite arpeggiator. I send anything that generates chords through it and it never disappoints. Touchscaper, ChordBud, the chords generated by Lumbeats iBassist, the chord packs in Helium … pretty much everything. I do wish there was a way to change shapes or patterns with midi. And if you could set the shape to rotate with a midi knob or lfo….

    You can however either I'm messing it up somehow or it just doesn't work as it's supposed to because I'm not able to get smooth cc modulation out of Aphelian (although there's the option to choose either smooth or per step) It only works in a somewhat step sequencer way.

    Same here. It's a really fun concept for toying around with but for composing music, it wasn't really useful for me.

    You can send all the movements of the planets and its moons as CC messages for Y and X values, it takes some setup to route them, but it is possible.
