And adiobus remote for fx so we can mangle while launching clips or to launch clips from while we mangle in the main app would be even better!
An early picture of a far younger @kobamoto panning like an old school motherfucker.
there be gold in them damn hills
really?.... can you run garage band with the launchpad mini?
We will mainly focus on making the full view (mention previously) work well for the next release. So sadly, reverse won't make it, but we'll definitely discuss it.
Audioshare and Flanger then.... great...... but why keep it under your hat?
All the fx looks cool why there is not a pack with all?
Thanks for the suggestion guys. Now released today as Full View mode. Or 'squish' as we like to call it in the office.
@Launchpadforios could we have a button to stop all clips
Good call. For now I use a stopper effect and quickly switch off the loops
@Launchpadforios Thanks guys, this is great!
Thanks for Squish. Makes it far more jam friendly
SQUISH! It's the simple things in life which drive man happily forward....good stuff.
As I'm on iPad Mini 2 does that mean I'm double squished LOL.
nice work, and once again, thanks for listening to folks
This! A small change that makes a big difference...
Hey @AndyPlankton can you change the tempo of the app manually with the launchpad hardware?
Yeah squish is great. Curious why the volume and filter faders could not have been shortened so the squish remains consistent. Seems it would have been easier no ??
Probably a good reason.
No, not that I have found, but you cannot do it in the app either, not while playing a song anyway, you have to do it before you open a song.
@AndyPlankton Yeah I was asking about the hardware because the app drives me nuts that I can't change the tempo whilst the loops are still playing. It makes it completely untenable for me to use live. You've seen my previous comments about how I need Link for the same reasons.
I'll be interested to see how Wave comes along because with Link support coming there, all I'd really need is a whole bunch of Wave rows stacked into a grid... (and the loops/samples from Launchpad in Wave!)
But who knows where @Launchpadforios is going with all this... except the cryptic drawings on the whiteboards in the videos!
Yeah I know, it is frustrating for you, I think wave would be ok if you are only using it for transitions, it is getting link as you can see from the photos and this is approx 4 weeks away, you could quite easily swap Wave projects ready for when you want to transition, but currently no hardware triggering for the pads.
If they can get the Wave playback engine in Launchpad then maybe we will see link, temp change and transposition in there too. They both play up to 8 loops at a time so on the face of it it should be possible
Yeah, and I probably will use Wave when Link arrives for my use case. It's just so tantalizing when I see that "Squish" view in Launchpad (and great to see that the team pays attention to user feedback) and think "wow, wouldn't it be great to have all in one package?" Anyhoo, I trust that the future holds interesting things...
squish makes this app a completely different animal. Terrific one screen performance looper. Nice work @Launchpadforios .
Any possibility that importing user sounds could be streamlined? The process in Bloc Wave is very convenient. As it stands now it takes 5 taps to import a sample ( edit pads, your samples, + sign, select import type, select file to be imported).
You devs must get tired of users endless requests.
Endless requests? Free market intelligence!
And I agree a 1000 per cent on smoother entry option (Nurse).
Not certain how the arcane Apple process works (what it allows and doesn't), but I would pay a bump to access all that I have already paid for....perhaps of more (mercantile) interest to the dev is that if I COULD use Launchpad packs in Blocs I would certainly also buy (yet) more Launchpad packs...
I've been doing it the long way.
Record what I want in Launchpad.
Sort in out in Audioshare.
Load into Blocs.
Drink coffee.
That's a lot of coffee.
Sure is. Then I'm sending it all to Auria phew....
@Fruitbat1919
Hello Mister Bat. I've been thinking about you and your coffee beans and wanted to ask: When I record and export a few bars from Launchpad it's never a perfect loop. What are you doing about this as regards preparing it for use in Blocs? For now I'm taking it into Auria and clipping off, works well and is quick enough, but wondered if I was missing something (nothing new there)...
Also, I did try a test import to blocs that worked nicely, and I changed the name of the sample from General Pasteboard, but couldn't find where this is kept/displayed for future use....any clues?
Appreciate your insight etc.
Effects tails setting?
