You should try some music apps sometime. They sure are fun.
Blocs Wave. ‘Cause from then onward, it all started to make sense and come together.
BM3 kicked out Kingdom Rush. Oh the times, they are a yaddah yaddah
To date: KORG Gadget
Clearly Cubasis.
It's becoming clearer to me (especially today) that this is the case for me as well.
Korg Gadget bcuz that’s what lured me into the beautiful and dangerous world of iPad music production
Nanostudio. Bought it two years ago, poked a couple buttons and deleted it. 3 weeks ago i gave it another try and have been doing things in it that make my ears very happy. Love the sequencer. Not much of a synth guy but i do like some of the sounds coming out of Eden.
Cubasis, MitoSynth, Ipulsaret, Samplr.
of course Gadget because it has great sound, it's very easy, and it's OPTIMIZED for old devices (air)
GarageBand .. because it introduced me to the world of iOS music making....
Cubasismitosynthipulsaretsamplr.
I’m new, but so far? honesty? GarageBand. It’s pretty stellar.
Animoog, Module, and Patterning
All I really need to make hits.
Perfect Trifecta.
Difficult to choose just one. I think for pure fun I’ve had making sounds it would be Shoom. For pure making tracks (or bits of), it’s between BM3 and Cubasis. For purely being a synth, it’s between Model D, Zeeon and WaveMapper.
CUBASIS + IAPs
Professionally designed by a company with a successful track record.
I wish they sold Cubase on Mac App Store similar to how they sell Cubasis on App Store (with just one app instead of a different app for each version) which will also get rid of piracy and the dongle.
also Cubasis here, maybe because Cubase is my main desktop DAW and therefore Cubasis was one of my first purchases for the iPad
I have to go with Nave, maybe because it's the app that made me want an iPad.
Still use it regularly and discovering features after all the years.
Samplr is very very close in second place. I wonder how much a fund me campaign would raise for Samplr 2 just with the latest Link and perhaps AU?
Y’all can probably guess mine: iKaossilator. As time goes on I expect Grooverider will be right up there too, but’s it’s only been a few months so “of all time” doesn’t feel applicable yet.
My thoughts exactly
Troublemaker. No other app has given me that same first go thrill.
auria pro and IAPs
exactly the same... auria pro is amazing
ThumbJam from my heart (my first iOS music making thing, it's the first to be loaded on a new device).
It's a close run thing between Cubasis and AUM practically these days depending on how I want to work (Linear vs freeform jamming).
Still Animoog after all these apps. Gotta also mention Borderlands, FieldScaper, and Turnado.
Auria Pro. The iPad pretty much replaced my Mac because of it, both for my own music and for studio work.
BM (motherfreakin) 3 alllll day
Samplr is a close second
