Question here quick. It looks like if i bought micro tera i would get the same arpeggiator as their other app arpegist, i think? thanks
Also real quick: does the korg ms 20 app use the external audio input? cheers,
ha you's guys er crazy
It's totally worth it too. I bought them all last year at that price. iSEM is my favorite out of all 3. I like the filter better than the iMini, which sounds a bit digital to me when rapidly sweeping through the cutoff. But it still sounds good when I want that Mini Moog sound. I really can't complain since I'm not trying to make it sound like a TB-303. The iSEM is very warm sounding, and easily my favorite out of all the analog emulations available for the iPad. As for the iProphet, it's a nice synth to have for that digital flavor when it's needed. All 3 of these synths replicate the original hardware rather well, and if you like all of these classics, I highly recommend them. Speaking of classic hardware, the iVCS3 is an incredible emulation of the original. It's not on sale at the moment (and I don't recall if I did buy it at a sale price). But it's worth keeping in your wishlist just incase.
The Sale Engines are beginning to thrum...
The Sale Engines are beginning to thrum...but not so much (yet) that this infernal machine should quote me twice etc etc
IceWorks synths are on sale now
LaPlace, Lorentz & Casini that is ...
Ha I feel like I'm in the stock market!
"Buy, buy...no wait!!"
Appshopper.com has some interesting activity. Capo Touch just went 50% for a few mins and then it went right back. I also noticed that Votan Telepathy was 2.99, pulled from the store, put back into the store, and shot up 5X's the price. All without an update! Strange stuff indeed
More, More, More http://thesoundtestroom.com/app-sales/
Amazing that with all that has been on sale all I can find of interest so far are the Synthmaster packs. It could also be that I already have too many apps!(just kidding, I am aware of no such number.).
This black friday is in the shadow of Auria Pro so not much will make me bite. the feast awaits...
Thankfully I am passing on Auria for now so as to be able to afford some of these sweet deals! In the late winter, early spring I may look further into Auria. I already use Cubasis and really do not have room for both. Perhaps it may come out shortly before Christmas and I will consider it for a Birthday present to myself. The bugs should be somewhat cleared up by then with updates and I really do not need it just yet at least.
I completed the Rob Lee packs. Goooood stuff...........
Animoog and Filtatron are on sale too
more... Fugue Machine
Its getting hard to keep up http://thesoundtestroom.com/app-sales/
Cool ! I needed this one
Cyclop in sale
That's not allowed, I paid full price for that.
Oh hang on, WOW Filters on sale as well. Looks like my money will be going on that one...
Is Egoist something special? Where does it excel?
It's a bit mad - I wouldn't say it excels in any particular area - drums/bass are pretty basic, the sequencer is a bit weird. Sample/loop chopper is nice - but the thing as a whole is pretty unique. I used it a lot when I first bought it, probably haven't opened it in over 6 months though. Capable of some very unique rhythms so I don't regret the purchase. These two tracks are almost all done in Egoist:
Oh, damn...and you have to add a lot of photo apps on sale too.
But it's hard to skip Fugue...
And please, please, Patterning...
Don't skip that one, I use that all the time.
Zmors and Xynth on sale too
All right, thanks @monzo, out of range of a decent wifi connection, will hear later. Primarily being attracted by the loop options - Sector can miditrigger too, coming to think of it ...
Yes. One of the unique choices.
If you've got Cyclop, this links really well via MIDI to replace the built in bass sounds.
More Updates http://thesoundtestroom.com/app-sales/
Guess I'll finally take plunge on Cyclop. I've always wanted to fiddle with it but can't imagine really needing it since I mostly use pretty straightforward synth basses for pop stuff.
But first I have to ask..do the Korgs usually go on sale for Black Friday? Have a soft spot for the Polysix.
