I have used MiMix in the past but not with Nave and Poseidon at the same time. I typically start up the apps I am interested in recording in Audiobus and record into MultiTrackDaw (48khz, 24bit) directly without MiMix these days to keep it simple. I set the levels as best I can in MTD before recording. If I want to further mix I move the tracks to Auria. The soundcloud examples are just m4a exports from MTD. IPad Air 1 with iOS 8.4. I am evaluating an iPad Pro at this time. I believe iOS 9.1 has issues as I have occasional issues with audio and a similar workflow. But I am patient and love the pro for the type things I like to do. Picked up Cyclops on the current sale and must say it really looks, sounds, and feels brilliant on the pro (even though cyclops is not my thing normally).
Too late, TC is no longer on sale, oh well, hope the fence holds in this wind.
Not sure I'd get Data now I know what a struggle it's been, but I'm well chuffed with TC-11. I've still got a long way to go before I get Data to pay its way.
Had 11 awhile, yep a synth that sits in it's own genre, a classic, wasn't sure about Data though, my fence too is weather worn, but still I'm sure you'll find a means to sit upon it.
Nuh-uh....
have You tried fiddling with the MIDI settings in MiMiX? By default MiMiX listens on all incoming MIDI ports including Network MIDI so if TC Data is sending CCs on that interface MiMiX might catch them and behave like You mentioned - turning mute and solo on and off, changing volumes etc. Try turning Network MIDI and TC Data MIDI in ports off and see if that helps first. Please tell me if it helped.
Thanks, Peter
Thanks for the reply - @SpookyZoo suggested this as well and it does sound like the culprit, why @Moderndaycompiler didn't have an issue with MTD and it worked fine when I recorded into Auria. Thanks for the additional info - I'll try this out later after work.
i think the devs need to sort their promotion out - it's a great app, but potential buyers need more examples if what it can do.
