Holy cow and his uncle!
Has it been submitted?
Wow!!!
Staggering amount of work going into this update ! Thanks Mr. Liljedahl
Nice work!
I gave up reading after a few lines - but even that was amazing!! Wow
Well, if that's the best you can do....
Holy Bat Junk....its Hugh
We are not worthy.
Cool, but no pitch bend and mod wheels for the keyboard?
ah yeah
Amazing work .
I notice AU presets will be saved , but my biggest problem trying to integrate AUM is indeed saving presets , but for IAA & AB . IAA apps dont seem to save their settings when saved in Aum , & if Aum is loaded in AB for statesaving ,the apps in Aum are not statesaved ,even if SS compatible .
I have been loading generators in AB to be able to StateSave them , then using their AB input into Aum , but this still leaves the problem of FX apps .
Hopefully the problem of saving apps settings can be solved , either by Kymatica in Aum ,or AB by having StateSave function through different layers of hosts . e.g AB>Aum>app.
Holy jjjjjjjjjumpin
First off: Hugely impressive effort.
Second: I love the fact (weirdly) that I have absolutely NO idea what IAA/AU nodes: MIDI filter with channel mask and note range means. Probably awesomely awesome, may usher in a new era of World Peace, but, well, no idea.
Third: It kills me that in a list of obviously jock-stomping improvements and love for an already triffic app I am most excited about the metronome being quieter
Users. No accounting for toast.
Synced recording sounds perfect for concocting Sector fodder.
I love the fact (weirdly) that I have absolutely NO idea what nodes: MIDI filter with channel mask and note range means.
I'm with you on that. I probably understand about 6% of the update's listed details, yet I'm still abnormally excited about it.
Slacker.
that's how it is when a high caliber of integrity precedes the dev!
For me it means splits and filter of CC messages (like sustain) and it's making think about getting this app finally and use it for live playing. Depends on how it works.
I think that it means it's like Midiflow, where you can split and route data coming in by note/channel. As an example, most electronic drum sets send everything out on channel 10. I use Midiflow to split by note, so I can hit a bunch of different pads, and route them to different channels in the daw. I'm thinking that's what this is for?
Very impressive list of work.
Nice. Thanks for a possible explanation. And all the power to you if it works and you can make it work. I love the fact that each of us can go down a list like that and find something that seems almost done just for us alone. Makes it great to use (and even to buy maybe )
When is this coming?
MIDI filtering, mono hardware inputs, 4 more IAA ports & the fixes are all great news....all the rest is a massive bonus!
Absolutely fantastic work!!! Thank you!!!
Vesuvius is exploding. What f.ing genius. To bring all iOS needs together like this. Do remember to eat though, Jonatan! One question...more input metering options? Colours/segments/expandable meter graphic? This is my only tricky area in AUM. Running several external inputs etc.
Amazing!! Thank you!
@j_liljedahl if it weren't so good (already) I'd hate you like that "ok guy" in high school who is jealous of the jock who's also a nerd and dating the girl he's always had a crush on. Who you end up being best friends with in the end because he's that awesome.
Well worth $25 even.
Awesome on top of already awesome.
The update is looking so good thanks alot for the hard work!
AUM is soo great & perfectly designed, i can't imagine making music on my ipad without it.
We should be very happy with these kind of geniuses making these apps for us.
Can't wait to download the update and give it a test drive.
Channel filtering was added to enable simultaneous midi control of multiple AU instances, and the note range filtering will enable you to setup keyboard zones
• Allow placement of AU plugin views out of screen.
does this mean I can have virtual screens - Avatar style
