  • I'm getting no lag on my Air2, even through AUM with extra fx :)

Recording of individual channels! Yesss! Thank you! This was my biggest wish for ED.

EDIT Just read about the upcoming sampler, holy moly...

    Not sure about this...

  • Hmmm... having issues when using the master effects > param x / y pad in aum . Works fine in stand-alone mode and does the normal pitch shifty thing that I love , but when I touch the pad when it's running in aum it gets stuck in a loop . I'll try again tomorrow after rebooting but this looks like a bug atm

I got this too running in cubasis as an iaa.

  • Triggers don't seem to be triggering... am I missing something?

I honestly wish (when I dial in a killer sound) I could just press a button and export a drum sound as a wav file. Elastic Drums has the best synthetic drums. I want this so bad. Auto-sample export.

And I also wish my MIDI settings could be memorized. I hate mapping buttons and knobs and interfaces every single time I open an app.

The sounds man. It has amazing sounds.

Oooh oooh, hold the button, tap the step, get the sample. Brrrrrilliant!

  • Great update! The new jam xy pad is stunning. Every features that makes an app closer to a live perfomance music instrument is sooo welcome! Is there an end the the enhancement possibilities: I guess not. And all this link enabled. Wow.
I wish all devs would treat their app as their baby just like you do! Thanks!

  • Excellent update, gave 5* and updated review on app store

I'll check again today but it ruined my playing last night , I had to quit the app

  • This is the app that made me love electronic percussion.

    Hi Carol,

I tried it myself and I was wondering why it should behave different in AUM than in standalone. It totally works in AUM for me. The effect is strongly depending on the pattern you are using. If there is already automation, you don't hear the effect, it only works with channels that have no automation. And it only works when you press a para button or tweak it in the xy pad. I generally reduced the effect amount, because I thought it's "too much", maybe I reduced it too much, I might reverse this again. Cheers

Thanks for all the nice words here and for the great input for further developments.
Special shout-out to all guys who rated the app or even wrote a review!
This community here really rocks !!

  • @magnum38 , thanks for that Great update and for keeping on the development of your app ! BUT still one thing I'd really like to be able to do is missing : deleting default presets.
Perhaps (if you absolutely don't want to let us delete the default presets) you could add a "USER PRESETS" button on the presets's page so we could seperate our own presets from the default ones and so be able to ignore them.
Anyway, 5 stars on the appStore ;)

This button already exists, and it's called "demos" ;) This hides all demo preset, so you only see yours. The name is a bit stupid maybe, USER PRESETS might make more sense, but it just doesn't fit graphically, so that's why it's called demos.
    Thanks for the good rating!

:) you're right... It's a weird name... So, maybe simply "User" would fit and make more sense ;)

ok thanks , I tried a couple of patterns and the x / y pad was working fine in standalone , but as soon as I tried it in aum it started looping , and I couldn't stop it . I'll test it again later today , sometimes a reboot sorts out a new app or update ;))

I liked the old extreme version, you could go really crazy with it.

I think it maybe was a bit too much previously. I find it more "musical" now. I guess you can't please all the people all the time ;)

  • I have to say, I'm currently beta testing another app that's having multi-out audio added and, while I originally thought it'd be a big plus, it actually makes things quite cumbersome on a device as compact as the iPad. Especially given that AUM only allows 4 channels on screen at any one time. It's quite easy to get lost. Mind you, I suppose some would at least want the option.

makes sense, i came to the conclusion that without multiple monitors to put apps on that while on an ipad i like to just keep it simple and dump to a pc daw later. The more apps that get their own multi component recording like ED the better for me.

  • Having 'Options' is what is important... I will be using the export function 99.9 % of the time but having the option will yield a more promising environment for creativity... Options should be the new baseline standard, if devs adhere to this they will be rewarded.

    Awesome update thanks!
Sampler sounds like a great addition can't wait.....

Having the ability to route the different tracks through AUM via separate IAA nodes would be my next ideal feature after that :)

Thanks for the nice words :)

How would you use the different tracks in AUM? I mean ED already has built in effects.
Nevertheless you would like to use the AUM compressor, etc.? That would be interesting to know ...

Seperate record to AudioShare would be better. Need the seperate tracks recording, but never use iTunes and a computer linked up.

    Good news! :)
Jonatan Liljedahl helped me with importing multiple samples to AudioShare. It works with zipping the files upfront. So I will do another small update, where you can import the stereo recording and 6 mono-channel records to AudioShare with one click. And you will be able to export the same 7 audio records within one email, so you are not limited to work with iTunes and a computer anymore. Beta testers, you should get an update within the next days

  • ^Excellent Work! Jonatan and Oliver, two legends
