Blocs Wave - New User Libraries & Flatten Mode

Hey All,

We thought we'd start a new thread, to proudly announce the release of our Slice & Rearrange mode today.

It is available for iPhone & iPad, and is a free update for existing users. We're smashing through releases right now, so soon you can expect the features to arrive soon: better sample management, better importing and also a whole new feature called 'sections' (which I'm super excited about).

I'm sure there'll be lots of feature requests for Slice & Rearrange, and we're keen to hear what you feel you want next.

Check more out the Slice and Rearrange here: http://blocs.cc/blocswave_slice

Yes Blocs just keeps growing :)

  • This update is great. Slip working both ways is really useful.

    Chopping beats works really well.

You can even chop then slip to change the wave positions within the chops!

    Really great update @Launchpadforios :)

The slicer really is rather good B)

Now I want to know what 'sections' is all about :)

  • I might buy it to support development. :)
However I would like to see advanced tweaks per slice such as volume/pitch/reverse and full midi implementation .
    (I know , a new feature brings 10 more FRs  )

  • Bravo! Really digging this update--slicer is working ace for me during my first test drive.

So amazing to see how this app is developing so nicely in rapid iterations. Way to go, @Launchpadforios !

  • Awesome!

  • Slip both ways!

I know, how useful is that! Really makes a big difference. One of the best new features!

  • @Launchpadforios

    Again great update.

Could I request if possible, a button to duplicate a whole project if possible? :)

You can already. Go to projects panel, and swipe the name of the project you want to duplicate. Press the duplicate button :-)

  • Took me a few minutes to get the hang of it, but this is REALLY cool. :)

Hehe thank you - slight blush :p

  • Woooow !
Thanks a lot Devs for all the efforts put in here!
These Quick updates are class acts, really
and this app is just getting so GREAT.
It's the most powerful, musical and creative tool
created so far on IOS for musicians.
I really long for an import function to send all loops
    aligned straight into Launchpad app.
5 years of appoholism for me finally led me to reach
that beautiful Island which is Blocwaves. At last, yes!
    Keep on keepin' fellas!!!!!
    Novation rocks

  • @Launchpadforios Thanks, very cool update (and free) :)

  • I was a little on the fence but now I am sold. Im going to walk around some parking lots picking up change. Can you still donate blood or plasma for money? I might have to do that to support my App Habit.

Yes, happy about this. But I'm wondering why the grid lines disappear while slipping? It causes me to "slip and guess" whereas having the grid lines visible would allow me to slip in one try.

Thanks @lukesleepwalker, I'll mention this to the guys and we'll take a look.

I'm sort of surprised that there hasn't been some mass orgasm here yet. I picked this up early and was bummed at all the IAP of what (to me, at least) are really generic, trite sounds. I thought it was a toy with a really cool potential, that time-slip.

This update? From what I'm seeing on those videos? Holy cow. That's unreal. I cannot wait to dive in.

But it makes you wonder, a little? Were these features always in the plans, and the first version was intentionally limited so as to whet the appetites of the devoted audiob.us poster and then BOOM, the big orgasmic update? Probably a shrewd move, and certainly handled by Blocs Wave better than insane rollout of "Life of Pablo."

  • Shit Nathan. Sorry to hear that.

  • Glad to see this update.
To be honest, I was rather unimpressed with the original release (uninstalled it), but now I'm re-installing it!
