With all the positive comments I had to join in and get it and I'm having a lot of fun with this app.
I jumped in the pool too. Squarely in the having fun camp. It will be interesting what direction the devs take this in. Effects processing would be a natural way to go.
On the quantize button the white ring indicates quantize. Anyone know what the red ring is for?
Red ring chops up line you draw in to quantized sections.
Also if you draw line backwards it plays sample in reverse

Playing fretless bass, using Funkbox, Filtatron, Crystalline and AUFX:Space.

This happened several times while playing samples from the library on the pad with the sample menu open:
I am just tapping or holding down one spot on the tab to hear the sound. The sample plays endlessly even after turning off play and is stuck. The only solution is to exit the app. Has anyone else experienced this?
does flux pad import from the iTunes music library?
I think itunes file sharing and easiest is from audioshare

Does fluxpad "degrade" AS imported samples? They really sound muffled and quiet, and I mean one shots...not loops
Yeah I like it. I didn't like the crashing but that's stopped. The stuck sample thing is annoying but not a deal breaker.

If Samplr arrived with Link and a couple of other key updates, there'd be less conversation in quite a few of these threads, I suspect.
When Samplr gets an update the world will end
if samplr doesn't get an update it surely will.
All these threads got me to mess with the old Loopy HD >> LinktoMIDI >> Samplr sync. It's a bit of a pain, but it does work well once it gets started. Considering using it for a live thing this weekend if it continues to cooperate.
I find getting it started to be a bit finicky but it is solid once it gets rolling (as you observed).
Cool but needs a panic button for stuck loops! (PS. Is there a panic button for stuck loops?)
